    Bridge

The bridges (Bridges in English, 橋 in Japanese) they are stone or wood constructions (in Animal Crossing (GameCube) there are two materials) that allow you to cross the river that separates your town. In a town there are usually 2, 3, 4, depending on whether the river leaves some islet or some delta in its course. Still, it is possible to get a new bridge in tabletop games.

    Type

Except in Animal Crossing: Wild World, different types of bridges can be seen along the river. Here are those different types of bridges, depending on each game.

    Bridge

Types of bridges in New Horizons.

    • Stone bridge: is the "standard" type of bridge, and the only one that appears in all deliveries. It is compact gray stone.
    • Wooden Bridge (GC): only one appears, in GameCube, and it is in appearance equal to the docks of this game. It is made of a light wood, with columns that support it from the bottom of the river.
    • Suspension bridge- Appears as a new bridge on GameCube and New Leaf. It is made of a darker wood, and instead of having columns underneath, it hangs from ropes tied to ropes on the ground.
    • Brick bridge: New Leaf municipal project. They are like those made of stone, but made of tochos (red bricks), that simple.
    • Modern bridge: New Leaf municipal project. Follow the modern style. Structurally it looks like the pendant, but it is made of metal and follows a "futuristic style".
    • Tale bridge: New Leaf municipal project. Follow the story style.
    • Wooden bridge (NL): New Leaf municipal project. Follow the Japanese style.
    • Plank Bridge (NH): Tom Nook will ask you to build it. After you make one, you can order them from Tom Nook at the Neighborhood Management Office.

    New Bridges

In GameCube and Wii games, the new bridge is achieved this way ...

    • ... in Animal Crossing (GameCube) after playing for a while, Tortimer will ask the player whether to put a wooden one.
    • ... in Animal Crossing: City Folk / Let's Go To The City by donating 200.000 Berries to the Civic Fund, a survey is made to see where to put a stone.
    • ... in Animal Crossing: New Leaf there are new types, as they are a municipal project.
    • ... in Animal Crossing: New Horizons by proposing to Tom Nook at the neighborhood management office.

    Curiosities

    • In Animal Crossing: New Leaf when you walk over a bridge you can see the shadow of the character in the water. This also happens with the neighbors.
    • In Animal Crossing: New Horizons there are different sizes of bridges, these depend on the size of the width of the river in the place where it is built.
