Build It, Play It: The Island of Move is a Roblox event that started on July 16, 2020, with an unknown end date. It's likely one of the "permanent additions to Roblox" as stated in a blog post about the previous Wonder Woman event. A blog post was made when the event was announced and information was provided about it.
It's kind of a Spin-off of the annual Roblox Creator Challenge events. The purpose of the event is specifically to teach players how to animate, import, and export Animations for use in a walk / run simulator game template. By doing so, users can follow a guide through the Developer Hub to also discover exclusive codes to redeem in-game for virtual prizes for a limited time in the avatar store. There is a place in the event game where the winning submissions from the animation contest will be displayed when the contest ends.

Críticas
When the event game was first made public, the items were not being awarded. However, this was quickly fixed. Later in the day, the codes that the player was told to enter did not start working and gave the error "Error redeeming code." This was also quickly fixed. Like previous Creator Challenge events, this one has been actively criticized for being too easy and codes can be found in a single search. This particular event has been criticized mainly due to the game having technical glitches for many players when trying to do the challenges for the items.
updates
On July 16, 2020, the event game went public and launched for the first time with four items available. Initially, no code that the player entered, correct or not, could be redeemed, but the game quickly updated and fixed this issue.
On August 13, 2020, the event game was updated so that the Kinetic Staff could be redeemed.
Curiosities
- It is the first event to use codes to receive prizes.
- Same way as the previous Wonder Woman event, but unlike most, when a badge is awarded in-game, it doesn't say "... And the [event prize]".
- An rblx.co URL is mentioned in a part of the game, specifically moveit. Going to this URL redirects to the Roblox homepage, an indication that the shortened URL was never created. A Roblox employee likely forgot to create it.
- In Roblox's initial blog post about the event, one of the images was titled "NIKE-BIPI SCREENSHOT 004.jpg." Since then, this has caused some speculation, specifically leading some players to believe that Nike might have been a non-accredited sponsor.
- The backpack in the awards image is not the same as the one you actually receive.
- This is also a retexture of a previous backpack.
