Builderman is an inactive alternate david.baszucki account used to send a message to new Roblox users welcoming them to Roblox. Before the implementation of "followers", Builderman was automatically friends with new users, and after followers were launched, Builderman automatically followed new users until 2014.

Appearance

Originally, he had an orange torso with a wrench shirt, black arms, black legs, a yellow head, and a Builders Club hat. His appearance changed around 2011. The BC Hard Hat was changed to a Turbo Builders Club Hard Hat, and he was wearing a shirt and pants, human skin and the 2.0 package. Later, his face was changed to Mr. Chuckles. On July 1, 2017, his skin color was changed to gray due to a bug in an avatar update. On May 29, 2020, the shirt he was wearing was accidentally deleted by Roblox. On June 1, 2020, this action was undone.

Curiosities

• Before the Friends and Followers update, Builderman had the most friends on Roblox with over 60 million default friends.
• The user Flashingjustice was the only friend of the builderman who had not been transferred to a follower, later, more players were added as friends of the builderman for unknown reasons, but all were eliminated at the end of 2015.
• Builderman is one of the few players who has a hat named after him.
• Builderman currently has the most followers on Roblox (around 68 million).
• There was a debate on who owns the builder account. Some said it belonged to erik.cassel, even though david.baszucki created the account in 2006. Since its inception, few changes have been made as the account was originally intended to be a messaging bot along with ROBLOX. Due to a video recently released by Roblox, it has been confirmed that the builder is, in fact, David Baszucki. He explicitly stated that he "used to log in as a builderman". That ended this debate.
