Buy drink It is a short assignment in Among Us, completed in Cafeteria at MIRA HQ.
Overview
The Buy Drink task is found in Cafeteria. To complete the task, the player must order an item from a vending machine using a keyboard to select the correct item. The item required for the task is displayed on a sheet of paper located below the keyboard. Like a typical vending machine, each item has a unique code that includes a letter followed by a number (Example: B2). The player must enter the correct corresponding code and then press the button ✓ to complete the task. If the player dispenses an incorrect item, the vending machine will simply distribute the item, allowing the player to try entering the correct code again. If the player enters a code that does not exist (Example: BB), or that code does not contain an item, the screen will display "XXXXXXXXXX", allowing the player to enter a code again.
Curiosities
- Possible drinks assigned to the player to complete the task include an NRg drink, a peach drink in a carton, a yellow drink in a potion bottle, a DonDew, a C. Sir coffee drink, and a box of almond milk.
- One of the drinks included in the task is the NRg drink, which is part of another franchise from the creators of the game: The Henry Stickmin Collection.
- The "Don Dew" drink could be a parody of a real-world drink called Mountain Dew, with the same bottle shape and color scheme. This fictional drink could also refer to Henry Stickmin, as the brand for this drink appeared on Fleeing the Complex.
- The "C. Sir" coffee drink has a circular image of a green Crewman. This could be a reference to the Starbucks green mermaid logo.
