Etymology

His English and Italian name, Alfonso, probably comes from "aligator" (crocodile), which begins with the same syllable as his name.
Its Spanish name, Kaimán, refers to the Caiman, a genus of crocodiles that are distributed in the subtropical and tropical regions of America.

Kaiman is a burnt amber crocodile with a white jaw, cheeks and belly, has several dark orange circles on his face, legs, arms and tail, he has semi-closed eyes and his eyelids are light cyan blue. His starting outfit is the Mario T-Shirt.

Personality

Kaiman has a lazy personality, so he will be friendly and easygoing due to his laid-back lifestyle. Like all lazy neighbors, Kaiman loves food and relaxation. You will enjoy participating in common hobbies, usually for reasons that involve relaxing or eating, such as fishing. Kaiman will get along well with other neighbors, but may offend or confuse sporty neighbors, who lead an athletic and fitness-focused lifestyle, compared to Kaiman's lazy lifestyle. He will get along with other lazy neighbors who he will talk to about food, comics or superheroes. He will also get along with sweet, lively, petulant, familiar neighbors, and occasionally fussy neighbors. However, they may from time to time annoy the haughty neighbors, who disagree with their lazy lifestyle.

In all Animal Crossing games except New Leaf, your house is decorated with some items from the exotic series and your wall is the imperial wall. In Animal Crossing he has four mini-rhythms, two domestic plants, a toilet and a white cassette player that plays Tota-empire, In Dōbutsu no Mori e + plays in Forest and such.

Animal Crossing: The Movie

Kaiman is first seen in the movie when Ai hands him the 500 cakes. Soon after, he will meet Yu, the boy who sometimes comes to Animal Village, chasing a butterfly in his net. He is Kaiman's friend. Kaiman runs back to his house to get his net to chase the insects with him. Later in the movie he is seen digging holes all over the beachside spot to find a Fossil. Next, Minina, another character, says that she has seen many more of them elsewhere. Kaiman, Yu, Minina, Ai, and Rita, go to find the group of Ammonites in a boat in the giant cave. Upon entering the cave, Minina takes the wrong direction, although she is the only one who knew where the ammonites were. As they advanced, they approached a huge waterfall. When they are about to fall, Rita grabs Minina and Ai, while Yu and Kaiman grab onto the canoe. Later, they realize that they had been saved, even though the canoe had run aground on the rocks, causing them to have to go further into the cave. When they advance a little more, they find a giant rock with a lot of Ammonites embedded, while Ai exploring a little more around the area, finds a complete fossilized Seismosaurus inside a hole, which is the exit of the cave.
