CD Projekt Explains Cyberpunk 2077 Romance With Judy After Unused V Man Voice Lines Found

CD Projekt has explained the confusion of the romance with Judy as unused V man voice lines were found in the game. Beware, there are spoilers ahead, advance at your own risk.

At this point, I think everyone knows that in Cyberpunk 2077 there are many romance options, but if that's not the case, surprise! Being some more popular than others, as always happens, there is the opportunity to have a relationship with the various characters in the CD Projekt game.

But last week modders found on PC that V man can have a relationship with Judy just with a simple code change in the command console. Doing so would mean that the scene occurs with V in a male body with a male voice, since without modifying Judy can only have relationships with a female body type and a female V voice.

Later scenes with Judy that are only possible when completing the romance scene, also include full voices with V male, which perfectly replicates the lines of dialogue used by V female. With which, this surprised the modders since it is the same and it would mean Judy is a bisexual character for the game and it wouldn't matter V's gender.

But there are certain irregularities when creating romance with Judy with V man, since although the male body model is seen in the sex scenes, V's hand seems cut out through objects; And even, in a later scene of Carol and Judy, one says to the other: "Cut it out, girls." They have called this "cut content", but CDPR comments that this is not the case, insisting that the lines of dialogue were recorded only "to avoid losing something by mistake that would require later recordings."

"It was just more convenient and easier for our localization team, from a productive point of view, to record all lines of dialogue with both voices," explained a representative of CD Projekt to the medium. "This was done to make sure everything is safe, although it may vary between languages."

"Judy has always been a romance option for V woman and that was the artistic vision from the beginning, there has been no romance option for V man cut out of the game." Do youWhat do you think of all this??
