chip y Chop (also called by their original English names "Chip and Dale") are a pair of squirrels. They reside at Disney Castle as operators of the Gumi Ship. They are almost identical, but Chip can be easily identified because he has a black snout and only one tooth in his mouth, while Chop has a red nose, two teeth in his mouth, and disheveled hair on the top of his head. Chip and Chop have the voices of veteran and talented Tress MacNeille and Corey Burton, respectively, the two who had previously voiced the duo on the Disney TV series.

History

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Chip and Chop appeared in Disney City upon hearing the conversation between Terra and Queen Minnie. They tell Terra that Pete is playing the races unfairly, and asked him to help them. After Terra wins, and Pete wins, they both offer their votes to Terra, hoping that he would win the Dream Festival.

Kingdom Hearts

Chip and Chop have a limited role in the first game. They appear briefly at the beginning of the game to send Donald, Goofy, and Pluto out of Disney Castle to Paso City. They announce events like when a new cup is held at the Olympus Coliseum.

Kingdom Hearts II

In Kingdom Hearts II, squirrels have a bigger role than the first game. They appear at Disney Castle, warning visitors of the Heartless invasion of the Castle, and are present to witness its salvation after Merlin sent the trio back in time to prevent the past from changing. They also have contact with the trio when a strange universal reading appears on their radar, which in time the reading turned out to be the Non-existent World. They are also present as King Mickey, Donald Duck, Goofy, Uncle Scrooge, Pluto, Jiminy Cricket and Donald's Nephews return to the castle together.

Kingdom Hearts coded

Chip and Chop also appear in this game, along with King Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Jiminy Cricket at Disney Castle. They are both the team's engineers. When Donald, Mickey, Goofy, and Pete are sucked into the world of data, Chip and Chop stay behind and try to contact them, but are blocked by the signals.

Appearance

Chip and Chop are squirrels, and as such they are very small, to the point that in Kingdom Hearts II they are small enough to be covered only by the system's "Talk" Reaction Command. The duo are similar in appearance, although they have several small differences.

Chip has brown fur over most of his body, except for the skin on his face, neck, the front of his belly, and around his eyes, which is yellow skin. It has triangular ears on the top of its head, a white mouth, and a black snout. It has three toes on each foot and four fingers on each hand. He wears a brown seal on his gloves, each with a horizontal gold line near the bottom. She also wears a classy apron with red straps secured to black buttons, while the apron itself is yellow, the same color as her skin. The yellow section has a green sports stitching that lines the edge, and the other section has brown stitching. There is a slanted, blue pocket on the front of the platform with a red Mickey symbol surrounded by a yellow gear. It also has a single tooth, in the center of the upper jaw.

Chop shares most of his physical characteristics with his brother, but he has two teeth on his upper jaw, a red nose, a lighter skin color, and, in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, wears a skin-yellow crest on the top of the head. Unlike Chip's ears, which face roughly forward, Chop's ears go in opposite directions, left and right. His gloves are also a shade lighter than Chip and his apron has Chip's reverse color scheme, meaning the yellow section of Chop's apron is beige, and vice versa, the same goes for the two different stitching colors. on the platform.

Chip and Chop first appear in an animated short called "Private Pluto." In short, Pluto acts like a watchdog guarding a box of pills, only until the torment of the two squirrels causes a classic war of wits between him, Chip and Chop.
