Chuck Time

Chuck Time It is episode 1 of the first season of Angry Birds Toons and of the entire series in general. Chuck and Red appear having a leading role. The episode can be seen in the Angry Birds apps and was released on March 16 and 17, 2013.

Description of Toons.TV

When Chuck accidentally knocks Red off a cliff, the race is ready to save him before he hits rock bottom.

Argument

The episode begins with Chuck and Red putting the Slingshot on top of a mountain, but when Chuck places it he sees that it is going to fall on Red and stops him but accidentally pushes Red and he falls. Chuck immediately activates his power and slows down time (which explains that Chuck's power is not to go faster but to make everything else go slow) and he is going to save Red.

Halfway through, Chuck gets distracted by looking at a butterfly but remembers that he has to rescue Red and places a bucket of water for Red to fall there. 

As time is slow, Chuck gets bored and starts to sunbathe, but realizes that the cube is not in Red's path but it is too late to move it and Chuck gets under Red and cushions his fall, saving him.

But the slingshot falls and it seems to have crushed Chuck, Red is about to cry but actually Chuck had flown off and landed in his hammock, Red breathes a sigh of relief, Chuck winks and the episode is over.

Curiosities

• The plot of Chuck Time looks somewhat similar to one of Chuck's biography photos in the Angry Birds Trilogy.
• In Chuck's activated form, he is seen with a headband. However, in the game, the tape is neither shown nor seen when Chuck's power is activated.
• In the series it is faster than in the games, being able to go almost at the speed of light.

• The plot of Chuck Time somehow seems very similar to one of Chuck's biography photos in the Angry Birds Trilogy
• When Chuck saves Red from the fall and hits his head, stars appear floating, similar to those used in the game to rate levels.

• Although it uses the same format as the Angry Birds Space Animation, Chuck's appearance is slightly different from the Space Animation and Trilogy cut scenes.
• Here Chuck's ability has a second effect which is to slow things down.
• This is the first appearanceless episode of Pigs.
• Chuck also used the same power in Angry Birds: The Movie.
