Cinderella

Cinderella is a classic Disney character that appears in Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. He is the main character in the movie Cinderella (1950). She has an important role in the game as one of the Princesses of the Heart.

Young man with a lot of dreams and, more importantly, a blind faith that they will come true. When she was getting ready to go to the Big Ball, her stepmother and stepsisters ruined her dress. But before her appeared her Fairy Godmother, who with a flick of her wand presented her with a beautiful dress and a brand new float. Prince Charming fell in love with her as soon as he saw her, but the poor thing had to leave in a hurry at midnight before the magic wears off. Cinderella possesses one of the seven hearts of pure light that can grant dominion over the worlds to whoever gathers them.

History

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Cinderella made an appearance in the PSP game "Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep." Ventus is shown with his faithful friend, the mouse Jaq, helping to adapt the dress that he will wear to the Prince's ball. However, Ven has an obstacle: Lady Tremaine's evil cat, Lucifer.

Recent scans show that Cinderella will follow a role in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep very close to the one she played in her movie. Beginning her story in the Castle of Dreams as a servant of Lady Tremaine, and later she is able to attend the Prince's ball with the help of the Fairy Godmother's magic. She is shown approaching the Castle of Dreams in the presence of Ventus, also running through the Great Hall in front of Aqua, having lost her shoe. It is also shown that Terra will be interested in Cinderella because of the light she keeps in her heart.

Kingdom Hearts

Cinderella was captured and held deep in Hollow Bastion until all seven Princesses were captured. It is not known exactly when she was captured, although it can be assumed that it was before Snow White and Alice.

Once the princesses regained her heart, she stayed in Hollow Bastion castle to stop the darkness from the Final Lock, until Sora returned and closed it. Although the lock was sealed, Cinderella and the other princesses could sense another dark power appearing elsewhere, the End of the World where Kingdom Hearts lay, and asked Sora to stop Xehanort's Heartless from fulfilling his evil plans.

When Kingdom Hearts was sealed, she was returned to her own world.

Kingdom Hearts II

Cinderella is absent in Kingdom Hearts II, although her name was part of the password that allows access to the Tron world DTD.

Skills

• Because Cinderella is a Princess of the Heart, her heart has the ability to open the Final Lock that leads to Kingdom Hearts. She also has the power to stop darkness using the light stored within her heart, a power that she and the other princesses can use.

• Additionally, her heart (along with that of the other princesses) can be used to create the People's Heart Keyblade, which allows the wearer to open any heart.

• Cinderella (along with the other princesses) can also upgrade other people's abilities, as revealed when Sora's fire spell power increases.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

She will become a D-Nexus for Terra after the events of her world. Terra and Cinderella have a finishing move called "Dream Waltz".

Curiosities

• It is quite possible that she is the second princess to be captured after Aurora.
• Cinderella is the sixth princess to meet Sora in Hollow Bastion.
• Cinderella appears with brown hair in her station in Sora's awakening but in the rest of the game she appears blonde.
