City of Paso

City of Paso It is an original world from Kingdom Hearts. It is the second playable world of the game. It is a world that people take refuge in when their worlds are destroyed. Most of the people who took refuge in this city happened to inhabit Hollow Bastion in the sequel (possibly this is why it does not appear in Kingdom Hearts II), such as León, Cid, Donald's nephews, or Merlin.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

Sora in this version will meet all his friends from the city of Paso, who think they know him, but do not remember him. Sora will help them but only Aerith will intuit what is truly happening in the world.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded

In this game, we will visit the digital replica of Ciudad de Paso where Sora will have to help find Donald's nephews, after finishing the story mode you can return to Ciudad de Paso where to complete areas of damaged systems, in one of them you will find the key Lionheart sword.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

Sora will once again return to the City of Passage, this time expanded to 6 districts in order to wake her up from the dream, here Sora will meet Neku, Joshua and the other characters from The World Ends With You. Riku and Sora will find Ansem and Xemnas in this world.

Later Ciudad de Paso is mentioned by Ienzo who explains to Lea that when a person who succumbed to the darkness returns after the disappearance of his incorporeal, he appears in the place where he lost his heart, and that if it is not available for any reason he makes in a world of the Middle Kingdom, City of Passage; which could indicate that some former member of Organization XIII appeared in Ciudad de Paso.

At the end of the game, Sora already in the real world goes to City of Passage, which is now inhabited by Dreamcatchers.

Curiosities

• According to Yen Sid in Kingdom Hearts 3D, the Sleeping Worlds are worlds that were destroyed by the Heartless and that when they resurfaced at the end of the first game they did not completely do so and remained asleep. This is a bit confusing because in the first Kingdom Hearts you never see Pass City destroyed by the Heartless, so it's not clear why this particular world is asleep.

• 

  In the object store of Donald's Nephews (Jorgito, Juanito and Jaimito) in Ciudad de Paso, we can find a sign that says "River Boat", which happens to be an attraction of the Disneyland theme parks. It may be that this element is in Kingdom Hearts III as Attraction Flow.
• Back in Kingdom Hearts 3D, Ienzo explains that Pass City is created when someone who has become Heartless and Nobody is whole again does not have their own world available. Although this is not explained in the game and is only a hypothesis, perhaps City of Paso was already asleep when it was created.
• Interestingly, the fourth and fifth districts are exclusive to Kingdom Hearts 3D.
• In one of the pictures of the green room of Ciudad de Paso (first Kingdom Hearts) it says "Six in the afternoon of a distant day. Time flies"; Curiously, the sunset occurs at six in the afternoon which is when the sun begins to set, this refers to a scene from Kingdom Hears 358/2 Days, specifically to day 255, when Axel and Roxas chat and one of the phrases What Roxas says is "Time flies, man" may be that the pictures describe the future of the first Kingdom Hearts.
• In the pictures of the green room in Ciudad de Paso, the first box says "El Monte Calvo at seven o'clock in the morning", this refers to the soundtrack of Chernabog and the mountain where it is located; and the second box next to it says "Noon in the jungle", this box possibly refers to the world of Deep Jungle where Tarzan is.
• This world appears in all games where Sora is the main and manageable protagonist except in Kingdom Hearts II, perhaps because Sora was not the only protagonist and manageable character.

• 

  Where a house is located, this inside has a poster with symbols of planets and stars, this poster would be a reference to Pizza Planet, one of the elements related to Toy Story.
• To get the Chocobo blueprint for the gummi ship, you have to enter Gepetto's house in Paso City 30 times and then talk to Pinocchio who will give you the blueprint.
• In the Fountain Square, in Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, appears the graffiti of CAT, a reference to The World Ends With You.
