CD Projekt has shared various pieces of information from his financial results for fiscal year 2020 (which in Poland refers to January 1 to December 31, 2020. Among these figures, the dizzying number of units sold of Cyberpunk 2077 stands out: 13,7 million copies sold in 2020 (it came out in December of that year).
We already knew this figure, and at the time they explained that it takes returns into account (that is, they discounted game returns from total sales). Here is a video summarizing all the data.
They have given more details, such as the percentage of sales of Cyberpunk 2077 according to format:
- 73% of sales were in digital format
- 23% in physical format
Depending on the platform, as expected, the PC is the majority:
- 56% of sales were on PC or Stadia
- 28% were on PS4
- 17% were on Xbox One
It should be noted that as time passes, the percentage is likely to increase in favor of the PC and the digital format, as something similar happened with The Witcher 3, which had 82% of its sales in digital format in 2019.
They have also given more figures on the creation of Cyberpunk 2077, including its budget: 1.200 million zlotys, the Polish currency, which converted into dollars are 317 million, so it would be the second most expensive game ever, behind Red Dead Redemption 2.

As for The Witcher, they confirm that the saga exceeds the 50 million copies sold, and 30 million pertenecen a The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. 2020 was the game's second best year in sales after launch (2015). The next gen versions of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 for PS5 and Xbox Series will be released in the second half of the year.

Recently, CD Projekt talked about the changes in their strategy, and they confirm that they will work on two IPs simultaneously: the DLC (and patches) of Cyberpunk 2077 and a more than likely The Witcher 4.
They also talked about exploring other ways to squeeze their series, such as spin off for mobile The Witcher Monster Slayer or adaptations to other media, such as the Netflix anime Cyberpunk Edgerunners.
