    DeathrunDeathrunDeathrun

Deathrun is a game created by Team Deathrun.

En Deathrun, you play as a runner or as an assassin. The objective of the runner is to reach the end of the map avoiding, dodging or surviving the traps that the Assassin has activated. The objective of the assassin is to kill all the runners so that they do not reach the end and attack the assassin.

The game is still popular as the interest rate ranges from 500 to 1700 users who play daily, however the game is rarely updated as its creator is at the University.

    Summary

    Maps

    Maps - in detail

The maps are the courses that the runners must reach to the end to kill the assassin. They are built and decorated with respect to their name and each of them has traps, an area for the assassin, buttons to activate traps, they award coins and also gems.

    Jurassic Volcano

This takes place on a volcano, with the corridors high above a lava valley. Traps include hands that come off the ground, rocks that collapse, a bridge that collapses, skeleton fish, turrets, and a dragon. The Jurassic Volcano was made by WafflemanXx and Wsly.

    Deathrun
    • First trap: after the small bridge, many hands come out of a small platform. They return to the ground after a couple of seconds.
    • Trap two: large floating rocks fall into lava, but not small ones. There is a 50% chance that the large rocks on the left or right will fall, which means that not all of them will fall.
    • Third Trap: After reaching the first checkpoint and after quite a long hike, 3 rocks floating in the lava move and fall down a lava waterfall. They appear almost immediately after falling.
    • Fourth Trap: Many skeleton fish are thrown onto the map from a pool of lava on the right side.
    •  Trap Five: Some boards from the bridge disappear and will reappear shortly after.
    • Trap XNUMX: The lava pool under the large wire fence erupts for a few seconds.
    • Trap XNUMX: After the second checkpoint, just like the first trap, the hands come off the ground again, but this time there are more.
    • Eighth Trap: 2 tall towers with eyeballs on top fire explosives at runners when they are within range.
    • Trap XNUMX: Like Trap XNUMX, large rocks fall and small ones stay. But now all the big rocks fall, unlike the second trap where only half of them fall.
    • Trap XNUMX: A large stone fire dragon shoots fire for a few seconds.

    Castle Defense

This map takes place in a castle, with water killing players. Traps include bows, bombs, rolling barrels, a crocodile, a dragon, and more. Tips: The trap of the barrels after the trap where the bomb destroys the bridge can be spawned twice, so be careful: don't go up after the first two anymore, the other two barrels will spawn in a few seconds. Castle Defense is made by Sofloann and Zomebody

    Deathrun
    • First trap: 3 archers shoot arrows at the same time 4 times. (This trap usually does not kill you if you are stuck to the wall).
    • Second trap: the cannons shoot bombs towards the 3 platforms, destroying them. They reappear again after a few seconds.
    • Trap 4: XNUMX bombs surrounding the checkpoint suddenly turn red and explode shortly after (you can drop the bombs into the water before it explodes)
    • Fourth Trap: 4 poles prevent 2 logs from falling from a waterfall suddenly disappear, causing the logs to float out of the waterfall, but these are destroyed. The posts appear again after a few seconds and then 2 more logs float out of the cave.
    • Trap Five: A catapult fires a cannonball towards the great bridge and destroys it. The bridge will not appear again, therefore the runners have to jump over the large rocks below it. (It is best to jump on the stones under the bridge even before the killer triggers the trap)
    • Trap six: a couple of barrels roll down a slope. The barrels can be avoided by standing in a hole in the wall.
    • Trap 2: After the runners reach the second checkpoint and the door is opened, oil falls from XNUMX cauldrons on top of the wall.
    • Eighth trap: a large crocodile bites and destroys the bridge. The bridge reappears after that.
    • Trap 2: XNUMX large hammers swing twice.
    • Trap XNUMX: a torch falls and burns the oil on the ground for a couple of seconds (the third and final checkpoint is before this trap)
    • Trap eleventh: a dragon shoots fire on another bridge.

    crazy island

This map is a laboratory on an isolated tropical island. Purple acid is the main hazard on this map. Traps include sharks, purple smoke, falling platforms, winds, and turrets. Isla Louca is made by Sofloann

    Deathrun
    • First trap: sharks jump out of the water across the long wooden bridge.
    • Trap XNUMX: Turrets blow poisonous purple smoke for a couple of seconds. A rock in the middle blocks the smoke.
    • Third trap: the pipes pour purple acid to fill a large pool. Runners can jump onto 1 rock in the middle of the pool to avoid the trap. The purple acid sinks after the pipes stop pouring acid.
    • Fourth Trap: 2 cannons appear from the ground and shoot everyone within range.
    • Fifth Trap: A purple wall appears and moves towards the corridors, and soon it moves back to its original position.
    • Trap 3: 4 or 5 of XNUMX platforms rotate from horizontal to vertical.
    • Trap XNUMX: A wall falls quickly and crushes players under it.
    • Eighth trap: 2 big fans throw the players that pass by.
    • Trap XNUMX: Many spikes appear in rows of holes in the ground and disappear almost instantly

    • Trap XNUMX: As in trap XNUMX, purple acid fills the pool and then sinks again.

    Ancient Jungle

This map takes the player through a jungle. Traps include flooding, collapsing platforms, a collapsing bridge, nets, falling trees, and bombs. Before 2018, Ancient Jungle was called Corrupted Jungle. It had no temple and was significantly less detailed than the modern version. Ancient Jungle is made by Zomebody and Wsly, Deathrun 2's version was made by OKevinO.

    Deathrun
    • First trap: the foliage of the grass falls, revealing a small wooden walkway and a mud pit.
    • Trap Two: Geysers start to appear for a few seconds and shoot smoke and boiling water from the ground.
    • Third cheat: the large pool fills with water after pressing the button. The wooden blocks appear after a few seconds for the runners to go through the 'flood'.

    • Fifth Trap- 4 platforms disappear except one of the two in the middle.
    • Sixth trap: 5 large rocks are waiting for you that stick to the wall. The first, third and fifth rocks will collapse while the second and fourth remain. But, those two are also dangerous, because 2 other big rocks fall on them. The rocks reappear after a while.
    • Trap 50: the bridge collapses apart from the dark brown boards. There is a XNUMX% chance that each side of the bridge will have a thin wooden post for runners to cross.
    • Eighth Trap: Many dynamites and boxes explode.
    • Trap 2: XNUMX wooden walls rise up and trap the runners. Bombs will start to appear, these bombs can be dropped before they explode.

    • Trap XNUMX: Some platforms rotate and move on and off the terrain repeatedly.

    Safety First

This map takes place on a construction site. Traps include wrecking balls, bulldozers, cars, saws, explosives, electrical cables, and falling platforms. Festive Fallen Factory (Egg Hunt 2019)

Festive Fallen Factory was a map temporarily added to Deathrun only for Egg Hunt 2019: Scrambled in Time. It works very differently from all the other maps and has a different cheat mechanic, so cheats will be explained here. Festive Fallen Factory also has the most hazards on a single map. The objective of the runners is to collect energy cores and place them in a small area at the beginning. When there is a sufficient amount of cores collected, the finishing pad will activate for the racers to kill the assassin. There are also cannonballs that are routinely fired around the map. The Festive Fallen Factory layout is a circle and the traps will be numbered clockwise, starting from the spawn zone. The button mechanics also work differently in that when one trap is triggered, all the others turn yellow and act as if they are triggered, except these traps won't work. This map was made by Wsly.

    • There are 2 giant hammers that take turns smashing the racers. If the killer triggers the trap, the hammer above will immediately fall.
    • There is a conveyor belt and 5 tubes. The tubes will spew out colored smoke one after the other. When the trap is pressed, all pipes will spew their associated smoke color.
    • There is a conveyor belt and 4 hydraulic systems. The bottom of a hydraulic system will turn yellow, which means it is about to fall. This happens in a random order. When the button is pressed, the entire hydraulics will lower, but will turn yellow before lowering as well.
    • There is a very large cauldron full of sludge leaking from one of 3 random locations with a long delay between each leak. When the trap is activated, the cauldron will leak mud from all 3 possible places.
    • There is a very long slide and 2 tubes at the top. The pipes will take turns expelling rocks on their side of the slide. When the button is pressed, both pipes will eject rocks at the same time.
    • There are 2 routes to go but both are affected by a single button. The path on the left side features some stones sticking out of the mud. The path on the right side has 3 long stones and 2 tall stones sticking out of the mud. When the button is pressed, the mud rises and submerges all the stones except those with grass.

    Jagged Junkyard

This map was added alongside the seasons. It is the first map in Deathrun to have 13 traps within it, as well as having the first reusable pick trap. This map was made by Griffenpeep123

    • First trap: three rusty metal platforms are floating, 2 of them sink into the water and rise again.
    • Trap two: a metal platform moves and reveals a pile of hot coal.
    • Trap 4: Most of the boards in a bridge disappear and there are only XNUMX boards left.
    • Fourth Trap: A roulette wheel spins and causes players to fall into the water to the left or right.
    • Trap Five: Two of the three conveyor belts activate and throw players to the right side
    • Trap XNUMX: A hydraulic press falls and crushes the players.
    • Trap XNUMX: a giant electromagnet falls and breaks a plank bridge
    • Eighth trap: a piston comes from the right and pushes the players.
    • Trap XNUMX: Fire comes from a pipe and burns the corridors.
    • Trap XNUMX: The killer has two options of pipes to burn, only one will get very hot and the other will stay cold
    • Trap XNUMX: a cauldron filled with molten metal is poured onto a slightly lowered piece of earth.
    • Trap twelfth: two turntables spin wildly
    • Thirteenth Trap - Oil catches fire. You can avoid the fire by standing on a platform to the right of the trap.

    Galactic Terminal

This map is a huge terminal flying through space and it is a very detailed map. It has some of the longest and most difficult traps to evade, possibly making it more difficult than Safety First. The Galactic Terminal also has a section with a moving laser wall that covers many platforms except 2 small ones. Galactic Terminal was made by ElectroBlast199.

    • First trap: one of the 2 laser gates will be activated above the moving platforms.
    • Trap two: an electromagnet deactivates and drops metal boxes on a bridge.
    • Trap 3: A speaker-like machine shoots fireballs across a bridge from one of 6 locations XNUMX times.
    • Fourth trap: a platform retracts and causes the runners to fall.
    • Fifth trap: rotating laser walls rotate counterclockwise rapidly.
    • Sixth trap: one of the two platforms sinks.
    • Trap XNUMX: Same as Trap XNUMX, except for being in a different location.
    • Eighth Trap: 3 big orange lights will fall from the ceiling and explode when they hit the ground. You can survive lights and explosions by hugging window areas between explosions or by jumping on plants.
    • Trap 2: XNUMX laser gates activate and trap players in a small space. Then a wall of laser beams is spread over the trapped area. The laser wall can be avoided by jumping on the stone to the left.
    • Trap 5: A turret shoots 7 platforms XNUMX times.

    Goy's Gameshow

Goo'y Gameshow is currently the newest map added to Deathrun. It is a game show that is similar to Wipeout or Splatalot. Goo'y Gameshow also uses exclusive voice actors. There is a secret diamond located before the big spinning trap. You must walk through the small outcrop in the castle wall on the right side until you reach the terrain. There must be a small place where the gem is located. Goo'y Gameshow is made by GriffenPeep123

    • First trap: 3 huge axes swing downwards and throw the players into the water.
    • Trap 2: XNUMX large squirt guns fill a small corner-shaped pool with slime but do not submerge the platform in the center.
    • Third Trap: Spikes rise from 5 marked platforms.
    • Fourth Trap: A griffin spews drool on a 'tongue', as told by GriffenPeep123. The slime slides off the tongue but falls off in the corner.
    • Trap 2: XNUMX conveyor belts pointing to a platform will accelerate to launch players into the gaps between the platform and the conveyor belts.
    • Trap six: a bridge is broken in half.
    • Trap XNUMX: A large spinning wheel pulls players off the platforms but not off the terrain.
    • Eighth trap: a huge cauldron full of spikes of slime contained in a wide red carpet.
    • Trap XNUMX: A wrecking ball destroys part of the wall above the control point and then disappears. Be careful, the wrecking ball can still kill you even when disconnected.
    • Trap XNUMX: A roulette wheel spins on a slope and causes players to slide.
    • Trap XNUMX: A crossbow shoots slime arrows at players, causing them to fall down the stairs.

    • Winner: 130 / 250XP and 10 coins

    How to play

Said above, for the racers to win, one of the racers must successfully reach the end of the track, which has a teleporter. When the runner steps on the teleporter, the player will be teleported to the Assassin area and given a weapon. Using the weapon, the runner must kill the Assassin with it before time runs out. Failure to kill the Assassin in time will result in the defeat of the runners.

In order for the assassin to win, the assassin must use the traps to successfully kill all the Runners trying to reach the finish. However, if one of the corridors reaches the end, the Assassin's only option is to prevent them from killing the Assassin. If the killer manages to survive when the time is up, the killer wins.

To prevent runners from staying in "safe spots" on the map, such as the beginning of the map or places where there are no traps, there is The Hand. The Hand becomes mobile around 30 seconds - 1 minute after the start of the game, killing people who are standing at a point on the map. After that, the Hand travels slowly forward, going the same way as the runners. If a runner gets too close to the hand, the hand will quickly move towards the runner and kill him. To be safe from The Hand, runners must be at a safe distance from the hand.

    Money

Deathrun provides two kinds of money in the game. One is the coins, the other is the gems.

Coins are the normal currency, obtained by participating in rounds. The more achievements you have made in that round, the more coins you will get. Coins are also obtained on the map itself.

Gems are the premium currency. The only time you'll get a Gem without buying it with Robux is on maps (mostly at checkpoints), collecting a reward, or getting lucky while fishing.

    Errors

Mistake 1: There is a glitch in the game that allows the player to exit the lobby at any time.

Step 1: When you appear, walk up the hill at the top left of the screen until you reach the banner. Jump on it using the nearby square and then jump to the nearby green border.

Step 2: Walk up to the tree and stand in the middle. Then zoom in and walk to the top of the tree branch, the one closest to the tent you were in before, and then turn the camera so that it is facing your player. Finally, jump to the highest hill out of bounds. Now you should be in front of a castle.

Step 3: Walk to the right of the castle and look towards the earthen wall. Now slowly tap the right and bottom keys until it slides through the crack. Fall towards the map and now you are out of bounds.

Features: You can walk around a 180 degree area around the lobby, specifically where the ocean is. You can access nearby islands, however walking too far will cause you to fall off the map and die from the game. This is one of the 2 ways to die within the lobby.

Mistake 2: When the pause between two rounds begins, walk onto a slide and stand next to it. Once the timer reaches 0 at the bottom of the screen, immediately walk to the rest area. You will die, but 1 of 2 things will happen depending on your time:

Result 1: You will teleport to the map before the other players, and you will see your character until the game covers your screen.

Result 2: You appear in the lobby, but in the game. The intro will play and then you will be standing in the lobby. If you're a runner, the game won't end until time is up, unless you die using the out of bounds glitch. However, if you were the killer, the game will end immediately.

Error 3: During the pause go to a fishing and fishing area, if you press e fast you will appear like the others, otherwise you will be able to do the same as in Error 1.
