Being that appeared in the Castle of Oblivion of the binarama. He guided Sora through playing cards. His appearance is that of a person who has close ties to Sora, but his true identity remains in the utmost secret. Is it an illusion created by a distortion of the data, or is it related to the "memory of pain" that sleeps in Sora's heart?

History

Digital Sora encounters a mysterious figure clad in a black suit in Descent to the Heart. Although he later guesses that the mysterious figure was Digital Riku, who initially appears in a black coat, Digital Riku tells Digital Sora that their first encounter was in the Destiny Islands, leaving Digital Sora wondering who the woman was. first figure. The mysterious figure appears again in the Castle of Oblivion, giving Digital Sora a card from the Destiny Islands. After obtaining one of the world ending cards, the mysterious figure gives Sora Digital world cards again (Wonderland, Olympus Coliseum, Agrabah, and Hollow Bastion). Returning after the player obtains the first final card of each world, Roxas Digital appears mocking Sora Digital for forgetting the people he thought were important, and advising him that forgetting the people he saw in the illusions would be serious. like the pain of not remembering them in reality and that it would be too painful. However, Digital Sora rejects this idea and tells him that he would bear the burden of the wound on his heart until he remembered his friends again. After at least ending each world with a final card, the mysterious figure would fight Digital Sora by showing him "true pain". After being defeated, the mysterious figure is revealed to be a version of Roxas' data and gives Digital Sora the final card.

Appearance

Roxas Digital takes the form of Roxas wearing his black coat with the hood up. The version of the Digital Roxas with the bugs is completely black, resembling a silhouette, and wields the dark versions of the Promised Keyblades and Distant Memories. The body of Roxas Digital and his Keyblades are covered and surrounded by bright, blue panels similar to computer screens, which change color as you fight to yellow, red and green (its appearance and fighting mode reminds to the Roxas Dual from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, it also adds some abilities from Roxas from Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix).

Personality

While Digital Roxas spends much of his time lurking in the shadows, bursts of his personality appear throughout the story. He is sullen and silent, dwelling in his condition as a mere illusion, but content to remain in the shadows as Digital Sora wanders through the worlds. He can often be very cold, thinking of the people in Castle Oblivion, as mere illusions, and suggesting that Digital Sora can hurt himself as much as he wants, without retaliation. Like the real Roxas, he can be impulsive, shown when he attacks Digital Sora when he refuses to forget the people who were important to him. He can be overly arrogant, unafraid to mock Digital Sora in his confusion. At the same time, he's kind enough to guide Digital Sora around Castle Oblivion, and he knows when to give up on his destiny.

Curiosities

You can use three limits (with two braces), when Roxas can only use two in this way.
His way of wielding Distant Memories in combat is very reminiscent of Ventus's wielding, as he wields his Keyblade backwards.
There is a much stronger version of him in the Hollow Bastion system area appearing as a Corrupted Rival.
