Earth Hour 2017, is an animated short film released by Rovio Entertainment, on March 20, 2017 by the Angry Birds Friends weekly tournament of the same name, and by the Earth Hour world event, held on March 25 of the same year, and raising awareness on climate change.

Inside the Professor Pig's laboratory, there was a large machine which was intended to make a tofu grow in size. In the machine you can see a pig tied up while blowing a cabinet, while another pig analyzed with a magnifying glass some sun rays, a pig eating apples and corn, and a pig running on a hamster wheel. This caused the machine to generate energy, which accumulated at the tip of a laser beam, which shot the tofu to enlarge its size. The teacher pig gazed enthusiastically at the tofu, as it grew in size, until in a moment it deflates like a balloon, falling to the burned ground. This saddens all the pigs, but one of them shows to bring popcorn, which excites the pigs.

Curiosities
- It is the second time, in which a short film has been made for the Earth Hour event, the first time was in the short film It's Lights Out for the Piggies.
- The professor pig had previously appeared in the short films It's Lights Out for the Piggies, and Test Piggies.
- The short film was accused that the food that the pigs wanted to eat seemed to be bacon, thus being cannibalism by the pigs, so Rovio Entertainment later mentioned that the food was actually tofu. [1]
