In addition, to celebrate the launch of the app, Nintendo has launched a summer contest, from July 17 to August 27, with a New Nintendo 3DS prize at stake each week.
To participate in the “Photos with Animal Crossing” contest, the first thing you have to do is get the free app. This can be installed on the Nintendo 3DS system using the download codes that are printed on three different models of Augmented Reality cards, whose distribution begins this week. The Tom Nook card will be available free of charge at the Spanish points of sale participating in the promotion from July 15, with a total distribution of 150.000 units. The Canela card will be included free in all copies of the issue of Bravo magazine that goes on sale on July 20. The Totakeke card will be included free in all copies of the CLAN magazine issue that goes on sale July 17.
Once you have obtained one of the Augmented Reality cards, scratch the download code of the app that appears hidden on the back and download it to start photographing the neighbors of the game in your garden, in the subway or in a selfie plan , what you want. Each week, Nintendo will retweet photos of the top 10 finalists and announce the weekly winner of the New Nintendo 3DS.
