— Epic Games Store (@EpicGames) April 6, 2021Original news: If you are trying play fortnite on PC from Epic Games Launcher or enter your Epic Gsmes Store account and you can not log in, do not despair: it is a widespread technical problem. The problem only seems to be happening on PC: users will be able to access the game from mobile phones or consoles. Epic Games is already working on fixing it.
Since approximately 14:00 CET (Spanish peninsular time), the official accounts of Epic Games Store and Fortnite have warned of this connection problem, which has caused many users to uninstall their Epic Game Launcher, thinking that the problem was with their computer (don't do it).
When users tried to log in, they got an error message from "Invalid customer". For some logged in users it also caused their friends to disappear from the friends list.
Our teams are still working to resolve these issues for all players.
The Epic Games Launcher and Fortnite logins still have issues.
The initial tweets have been answered periodically throughout the afternoon, and as of this writing we do not know when it will be resolved. Watch your channels (@Fortnite_ES or @EpicGames to know when it will be solved.
