Although you will temporarily have the Playground mode to practice it, an indispensable place to practice construction is Alameda Aullante. This area, located in the northeast part of the map, contains a number of wood resources that you can amass and then practice in that area. What you have to do is jump directly to this area, forget about the game, amass wood resources, and start practicing structures.
What if I don't have building materials?
What it is about is that you are always above your rival to better hit him in the head. If you don't have wood, you can get on the roof of a house or any other building. If your rival is also on the rooftops, what you can do is take advantage of each of the chimneys to gain height and even jump from them to the rival to shoot him from above.

Structure 1
You simply put four walls and a ramp, you put four walls and a ramp again, and so on until you see fit. It is a very basic construction that allows you to gain height against rivals.
Structure 2
It involves building the double stairs / ramps. Simply build double ramps so that you can gain height against your rivals.
Structure 3
It is similar to the previous one, but in addition to putting a double ramp you must place a wall in front. This serves so that when they are shooting at us the rival has to use much more ammunition to destroy our structure. This way we will have more time to beat it.
Structure 4
This structure combines ramps with walls and walkways. We start building a ramp, then we put a wall in front, and we put another ramp to the right or left depending on where we want to go. Then we put another wall again and again a left or right ramp, and so on. This allows us to gain height as before, but always being out of range of the enemy's attack and being able to move through the stage in case we want to reach a particular area.
Structure 5
This last technique is more designed to do defense first and then counterattack. When we have been ambushed we can lock ourselves inside a structure by putting walls on each side and a roof. In this case, it must be taken into account that the enemy will be, most of the time, above us. Here it is advisable to use brick structure since it is more resistant. What you must do is build a door on either side, and before you leave, build a ramp both up and down which will allow us to gain height while we are protected.
When you have gained enough height, stop building at the top and along a wall at the top and as soon as you have it, put a ramp on it so that you can climb. This will allow you right now to have a clear view of where the enemy was and to be able to shoot him.
