Battle Stars no longer determine our Battle Pass to level up. The system has completely changed. In Fortnite Chapter 2 there is a medal system, which "rewards" or recognizes what we do during the games, such as being among the last 50 players on the island.
To further complicate things, we also have what is called the Fortnite punch card medal, which is a card that collects the medals that we have achieved. Remember that every 24 hours the punch card is reset, and you will have to get the medals again. Additionally, by completing the card and "deactivating" the card until the next day, an extra period of XP bonus can be activated (the experience bar will flash yellow), although its effect may be limited to a few games.
Lastly, challenges no longer provide us with Battle Stars upon completion. The first group of challenges, the New World mission, gives us 14.000 experience points for each challenge. In this way, completing them also helps us advance in the battle pass.
