The bloody war between Epic Games and Apple continues to claim new "victims". Although the game can continue to be enjoyed without being able to update, there is already a mode that disappears completely. We refer to Save the World, which unfortunately has not been saved.
Epic Games will remove the title from Mac computers on September 23 and it does not seem that this is going to return. Affected players will be able to have their purchases refunded if they made the game between September 17, 2019 and September 17, 2020.
The company's notes indicated the following: Apple is preventing Epic from signing games and patches for distribution on Mac. Due to this, the developer cannot apply updates which results in a poor experience, according to the company itself.
Luckily for those affected players, a rPaVos reimbursement that will not require player participation. The process will be handled by Epic Games, although details about this transaction have not been specified.

The Save the World mode, which is already considered a complete mode by Epic Games, is not the most played, given the popularity of battle royale, but it does represent a different and profound option for all its users.
It is not known if Save the World will return to Mac, although for now, things remain unsettled between Apple and Epic Games. The apple company recently struck again, claiming that Epic's lawsuit is nothing more than a publicity stunt. On top of that, the Unreal Engine company has more open fronts. Epic and Riot are also in the crosshairs of the North American government for their ties to Tencent.
