Three weeks ago Fortnite latest update, patch 11.40 which introduced new features such as a weapon upgrade bank with new functions ... but it was certainly a minor update compared to this week, which introduces a very important change: the arrival of the new physics engine. In the absence of the patch notes, these are the main updates, adjustments and corrections that this new patch will include. Perhaps the most important is the new physics engine, Unreal Chaos Engine, with which the destruction promises to be more detailed and that, in the absence of the game being operational again, could involve playable changes (such as being able to shoot through the cracks that are generated in the constructions).

Engine Unreal Engine Physics Chaos
The new physics engine is a preview of what awaits us in season 2. This engine will allow buildings to collapse before our eyes, instead of disappearing as before. It remains to be seen how it will affect the gameplay, something that we can see when the game is operational again. At the moment, all elements of the game have been updated (from buildings to bushes) to reflect this change.
New events
In the absence of official confirmation, everything indicates that there will be new events, one focused on Creative mode, and perhaps a limited time mode for Valentine's Day, a 2020 version of "Love and War". In the files, the rumored Harley Quinn skin has also been found, in the absence of seeing if she will star in an event or not related to the new movie Birds of Prey ... although everything seems to indicate that it is not.

Feedback tool
After launch, our goal is for Fortnite to continue to maintain the same essence. Epic will closely monitor feedback from the community via the feedback tool detailing any issues you may have. To report bugs using the feedback tool, select Comments from the main menu, then Bugs. Especially those related to new physics.
Error correction
- Fixed issue with Rising Chaos Challenge "check chests in the same game" where progress was not tracked.
- Squishy vs Slimy Challenge progress "Get Scrap Gold Medals by Registering Chests, Llamas, or Supply Drops" is now saved correctly.
- New console players will no longer have matchmaking issues when linking their account for the first time.
- The option to upgrade to a better weapon is no longer available in competitive queues.
- Fixed an issue that resulted in iOS players triggering the swipe up of their device when pressing inventory buttons.

- A new value has been added to the HUD info type in the My Island UI settings.
- Round Status: Shows a representation of the number of active or eliminated players on each team and the rounds each has won.
- Only valid for games with 2 teams.
Error correction
- Fixed a bug with the underwater post-processing effect on the archipelago island and the consequent loss of it when the island was loaded.
- Fixed an issue where players were able to complete challenges after exiting a match and returning to headquarters.
- Fixed a bug that prevented some players from being able to shoot with the scope when pressing the right mouse button on PC.
- Fixed a bug that prevented players from shooting and hitting with the pickaxe after respawning in a close quarters match.

COSMETICS UPDATE
The base is in the final stages of bringing your backpacking outfits and accessories to your lockers, but there are still a few bugs to resolve before they are ready for release. Therefore, we will try to make the backpacking suits and accessories available in the v.12.10 update, so we can continue with testing and fixing bugs. Fear not, your commanders will be ready to fight in style very soon.
DUNGEONS AND FROSTNITE WILL BE DISAPPEARING SOON!
Venture into the depths and stand up to a most sinister monster! Complete the missions and unlock the heroes because with the 12.0 update they will no longer be available. Fear not heroes! Dungeons will be available again later.
Error correction
- Fixed a bug that caused Commanders to get stuck on the inventory screen when playing dungeons with a controller.
