    14 days of Fortnite, what is it?

    A new event is coming to Fortnite. Is about 14 days of Fortnite, a limited time mode that will allow us to play events with MTL (or limited time) modes both old and new. Large team modes change every other day and small team modes change every 24 hours.

    Fortnite Battle Royale Update 7.10

    After seeing what 14 days of Fortnite is, we go with the main thing. And it is that, this week neither new weapons nor objects are introduced in the Battle Royale mode, but there are a lot of small changes and adjustments that once again show that Epic is very aware of the community, their requests and adjusting the game to what demanded by the majority.     Weapons and objects

    • Changes to the Heavy Assault Rifle. Heavy Assault Rifle effectiveness reduced if not scoped; if you aim your sights, the experience remains more or less the same. Accuracy when jumping and falling has been reduced by 60%. Base accuracy reduced by 30%. Vertical recoil reduced by 6%. Accuracy while standing has been increased by 10%. Scope shooting accuracy bonus increased by 10%.
    • Balloon controls have been improved. Players are once again able to use alternate fire to drop a balloon when the balloon itself is selected. While in the air, the balloons can be released by pressing the shortcut "crouch" (previously with the shortcut "jump").
    • For the modes in which it is available, the height at which the hang glider is available has been reduced from 1000 units to 576 units.

    • Fixed an issue where players could pick up burning dynamite through structures.

    Gameplay

    • Ground vehicles now glide across ice surfaces.
    • Sniper rifle kills without scoping now appear in kills info.
    • Landing into a vehicle with all four wheels will no longer damage the player inside.
    • It is now easier to collect items that appear next to a mounted turret.
    • Stormwing will now take more damage when destroying structures by passing through them.
    • Damage dealt to players in a Stormwing when knocked down has been increased from 25 to 50. Damage is dealt directly to health.
    • Stormwing now take 50% more damage from items. While using the buff, damage taken from hits is now reduced by 50% instead of all damage.

    Error correction



    • Holding down a movement key while committing an edit will no longer force the player to keep moving in the direction of the key they were pressing.
    • Mounted turrets will no longer briefly teleport below the map, then return to their original location.
    • Various corrections to the zip line, such as animations or times.
    • Regressions have been fixed with the option "Automatically collect weapons"

    Events

    • Additional dates have been added for the Fortnite Explorer and Friday Night Limited Cups.
    • Explorer limited cups. Resource limits adjusted from 700/500/300 to 500/500/500 for Wood / Stone / Metal.     Among the novelties, we have the Winter Town, a series of prefabs to add Christmas touches to the towns we create thanks to six new prefabs.

    Islands

    • 4 new winter islands have been added. They can be selected in the player's rift, on the starting island.

    • Fixed a visual bug that occurred if a player picked up a new trap while another was equipped. This bug caused the UI to update with the new trap, but the original trap would still be placed.

    Fortnite 7.10, Save the World update

    Missions and systems

    • Frostnite is a new experience in version 7.10, which tests the survival of players in a long winter night. Frostnite introduces a new objective: to keep the burner filled with the fluo blue found. If it ends, the heat will also end. That means a lot of frozen heroes. If the health of the burner drops, the storm shield shrinks, so keep it well fueled! Survive as long as you can without equipment or resources using survival skills, schematics, and basic starting weapons. Nite.
    • Crafting from previous levels is now available! Schematics that have been evolved to higher levels can now be used to craft lower-level versions of weapons and traps. Older versions of the scheme have lower tiers, but also cost lower tier ingredients. Use old crafting ingredients and save the rare ones for when they are really needed! In particular, starting in new locations should be a lot easier.
    • The 14 days of Fortnite are here! The first Christmas-themed quest starts on December 19 at 01:00 CET and will appear in the quest journal. Every day we will add a new Christmas-themed mission to the mission log. Complete missions to earn valuable rewards! The missions will remain active until the release of v.7.20.
    • A new stat called Armor has been added that replaces Damage Resistance. Any heroes or weapon perks that granted damage resistance have been updated to grant armor. The individual advantages have grown stronger accordingly, but the accumulation benefits have been reduced. In the near future, upgrade returns may be requested on all heroes and weapon schematics affected by this change. You can choose to revert the affected item to level 1 and restore all the advantages related to its initial rarity, after which you will recover all the resources invested in the process.
    • The King of the Storm is now considered a party quest, allowing players to summon 1 defender each (equating to a total of 8 characters) during the boss fight.

    Error correction

    • The tracks in the Deliver the Bomb mission will now correctly link to the Warehouse and Launcher.
    • Fixed an issue where an empty message would sometimes be displayed when joining the King of the Storm quest.
    • Fixed an issue where incorrect targets would be displayed during the battle against the Storm King.
    • Now Deliver the Bomb will always have valid paths in the ghost town secondary biome.
    • Now Deliver the Bomb will allow you to reverse the direction of the first bomb created.
    • Missions that are temporarily unlocked during a campaign mission can no longer be mission alerts. This prevents the creation of "hidden" mission alerts that most players cannot see.
    • Some missions were unlocked by completing others that are no longer main missions. They can now instead be unlocked by completing the appropriate missions in the story campaign.
    • The Medkit search area can no longer be destroyed.
    • Fixed a bug that allowed players to build inside blue fluo pylons.
    • Fixed a bug that allowed players to place a BASE inside blue fluo pylons.
    • Copycat Chests can no longer be destroyed before the Copycat awakens.
    • Fixed an issue where players would get stuck on the end screen with "Waiting for results ...".
    • When using ROSIE at the end of the game, it is no longer possible for the character to disappear on the final score screen.
    • Fixed a bug that could cause the server to crash when loading a Storm Shield defense.
    • Fixed an issue that could cause players to be able to increase the difficulty during the "Construction Showdown!" Mission.

    • A context menu has been added to the store summary screen that allows you to bookmark or recycle new purchased items.
    • Now the quest pages have a new visual notice that will communicate special events in the future!

    • Players using a controller can now scroll through current and completed mission rewards using the right stick in the missions tab.
    • Many reward items have been updated to now display a large item icon when inspected during the reward opening sequence.
    • Fixed a bug that caused the mission play button to play its animation when it was not the time.
    • Evolved items no longer appear behind the Collection Book rewards screen when evolved and the Collection Book level up at the same time. When the reward screen appears, any camera objects being viewed are now removed from view.

    Heroes

    • The Hooded Shadow Ninja has been added to the Event Store. Legendary variant of the Skirmisher subclass. Available December 20 at 01:00 CET.
    • The Happy Scout Trooper is available in the Winter Flame. Variant of the double agent subclass.
