Handy Sisters is a tailor shop, and one of the main and most iconic stores in the Animal Crossing series. It is directed by Mili and Pili, the Manitas sisters. The store was run by her parents, until a fatal sewing accident caused the company to pass into the hands of Mili, who also had to take care of her little sister, Pili.
In all games except Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the tent resembles a small cabin, with an attic that could be the sisters' living room, disappearing in Animal Crossing: New Horizons to make room for A showcase. It has an emerald green roof, with blue windows and white shutters. In addition, it has a large white door at the entrance, with a blue sign on which is written "Hermanas Manitas".
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the store is much larger and features an exterior staircase that leads to the upper floor, which eventually becomes Chez Marilín, where the player can change their hairstyle. It keeps the blue name sign above the door, but it no longer looks like a cabin.

In these versions, the Handy Sisters are in charge of the designs only, since the T-shirts and umbrellas are sold in the Nook Stores. That is, here you can only create designs, save them1 and display or change them for those already in the store.

Animal Crossing: Wild World y Animal Crossing: City Folk/Let's Go To The City
Mili, the older sister who is sitting at the back of the store, makes the dresses that you will see on display to buy every day, and if you talk to her regularly you will be able to develop your friendship with her and she will be able to tell you details about her childhood and origins that Pili does not know because it was too small. Mili and Pili collide from time to time, but deep down they admit that they love each other.
Pili will be able to give you the option to design in all the games, but starting with Animal Crossing: Wild World (which would be kept in Animal Crossing: City Folk / Let's Go To The City and in later editions), all the clothes and accessories that were previously purchased at Nook Stores are now being sold at the Handy Sisters store.
The design or accessory that costs the most and that also seldom goes on sale is the Imperial Crown, whose price is 1.200.000 berries.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf
In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, the Handy Sisters' shop is divided into what appear to be two different successive buildings on the outside, but inside they turn out to be two adjoining rooms. The one on the left is the main one, it is attended by Pili while her sister Mili is sewing, as in previous editions. In it you can make designs, buy t-shirts, tops, dresses or sweaters and pants or skirts (in the place where accessories and umbrellas were located in previous games). For the remaining articles, the second room was made to the right of the aforementioned main one, which Trini directs. All kinds of accessories and an umbrella are sold there every day. If you buy 51 pieces of clothing you will receive a Mannequin for being a regular customer. It also happens in the accessories section, if you buy 31 accessories as a reward you will get another mannequin from Trini. As already mentioned in the introduction, Chez Marilín will be found on the top floor of the store, available once certain requirements are met.
After the player has spent 8.000 berries in the Handy Sisters, the Betunio store will be built to the right of the above. There he will sell shoes and other accessories, such as socks.
The main room that Pili runs while Mili is dedicated, as usual, to making clothes.

At first, Mili will not look up from the clothes she is sewing, but as time goes by and by talking to her, she will begin to gain affection and confidence in the player, as was the case in previous editions. What is new about Animal Crossing: New Leaf is that once you earn their trust, Mili will allow you to convert your own design (made by you) into a QR, which will allow you to share it with others much more easily, since the 3DS camera will only have to read it.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the Handy Sisters store will not be available initially. When constructing MiniNook and entering this building for the first time, the player will meet Tendo and Nendo talking with Pili about selling their clothes on the island. From that event, you can find Pili at least once a week selling clothes in the square. When the player has bought clothes on two of his visits, the third time Pili will comment that she and her sister Mili have decided to open a store on the island, and will ask the player to choose the location of it. The store will open two days after being placed. The store will offer a daily selection of tops, t-shirts, dresses, pants, skirts, shoes, socks and accessories. Almost all items change daily, with the exception of a couple of mannequins located on the left side, which are decorated with seasonal items and change less frequently. More merchandise will also be available in the store's fitting room, where you can find color variations of the items on display and more.
