Before you continue reading, we must clarify that this trick only works in Fortnite for computers since we need to access the file folder and make a series of changes.
We also warn you that it is a trick with a certain risk, since Epic Games could consider that you are modifying the files without their consent, and you could be banned.
Steps to change the lobby background in Fortnite
Go to settings, exactly to the cogwheel and change the language several times. This is a first step to blast the lobby and make it go white.
Now we go to our computer desk. And we go to the following route:

The above path may change slightly depending on where you have the game installed and the language of your operating system.
Now we will be inside a directory in which there should be about five other folders. Well, this is where we must copy the image that we want to appear in the lobby.
The image should have a 1920 × 1080 resolution and be in .png format
Once we have passed the image to said directory we must rename it To the next:

Now this renamed image must be copied into all the folders that are in this Files folder. Five other folders appear to us.
We must make one last change, and that is to go to the properties of each of these renamed ones that we have copied, and change it to "read only".
Once we have copied our renamed image in all the folders and we have put it in "read only", we can now delete it from the Files root, although in principle there would be no problem if you end up leaving it.
With all of the above, we can return to the game. We return again to the language selection. We change the language several times again until we "scan" it and we will observe that when before we had a white background, we now get the image that we have chosen.
