Intangible Essence

HR Intangible Essences (Absent Silhouettes in English) are one of the Extras of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. They are holographic versions of the members of Organization XIII who died in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.

Intangible Essences are special enemies that appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. In the case of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, they are caused by a computer and its function is to digitize the fallen members of Organization XIII in order to face them. Despite not being main enemies, they are secondary enemies since they recreate the members that before could not be faced, that is, those who were sent to the Castle of Oblivion.

• Reward: Ionic Recipe (Recipe)
• Reward: Stray Illusion
• It is the 3rd most difficult of the Intangible Essences.

Lexaeus

• Location: Twilight Town, Sports Ground (By getting the Four Crystals Trophy with Sora).
• VT: 1578
• Bonus: Sora: Accessory Slot +1, Donald: + Max HP and Goofy: Item Slot +1.
• Reward: Transcendental Recipe (Recipe)
• Reward: Stray Illusion
• It is the 2nd most difficult of the Intangible Essences.

Marluxia

• Location: Beast Castle, Beast Room (Second Visit).
• VT: 2817
• Bonus: Sora: Fusion Bar +1, Donald: + Maximum HP and Goofy: + Maximum HP.
• Reward: Undying Recipe (Recipe)
• Reward: Stray Illusion
• It is the most difficult of the Intangible Essences.

Vexen

• Location: Agrabah, Merchant's Shop (Second Visit).
• VT: Vexen: 1500; Shield: 100; Level 1-5 Clones: 100, 160, 250, 350, 450
• Bonus: Sora: Space for Armor + 1, Donald: + maximum HP and Goofy: + maximum HP.
• Reward: Experimental Recipe (Recipe)
• Reward: Stray Illusion
• It is the second easiest of the Intangible Essences.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Reminiscence of Vanity

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep there is a Nescient named Vanitas Reminiscence who appears in the Keyblade Necropolis after finishing the final episode and getting all 12 reports from Xehanort. Like the Intangible Essences, it initially appears as a dark sphere that represents the keyring of its Keyblade. However, the sphere is only surrounded by rays of darkness.

Battle Mission

A Battle Mission is an optional task or mini-game in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix. They can be found in each world once their plot is complete and appear as a dark portal, similar to the one in Vanitas Reminiscence.
