Yoshiya Kiryu (Kiryū Yoshiya), más conocido como Joshua (ヨシュア Yoshua), is an original character from The World Ends With You and appears in the Kingdom Hearts saga for the first time in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

History

Joshua first appeared in a trailer shown at V-Jump along with Beat in Ciudad de Paso.

He also appears in the 2012 Jump Festa trailer talking to Riku. Joshua explains that this world (the dream world) seems to be divided in two, like them. Then he says that it is a world exactly the same but at the same time different from which Riku responds that it is like a dream. Then he appears with Neku who tells him not to abandon himself since if he loses faith in himself he will lose faith in the world (this phrase is taken verbatim from The World Ends With You). Finally, he appears next to Sora, Sora tells him not to worry (it is understood that by Riku) that although they are separated. their hearts will always be united and that Joshua's feelings will reach him.

Appearance

Joshua, like the rest of the characters in The World Ends With You, has the same appearance as in that game. He is blond, with long hair and elegant appearance. He wears a white short-sleeved shirt to match his shoes and long black pants.

Joshua is an illegal player of the Reapers game in TWEWY, for which he did not die to play the game, during the second week of the Game he is Neku's partner, and on one occasion he gives him a great lesson which is "If you lose the faith in you will lose faith in the world "curiously this phrase appears in the Kingdom Hearts game said by Joshua himself to Neku. Interestingly, Joshua or Yoshiya Kiryu never existed, since both the character and his person are an absolute farce, because "Joshua" is just a costume, since he is actually the "Composer" of the Reaper game, and himself is the "God" of his world.
