Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX is a compilation of three games of the Kingdom Hearts saga remastered in HD, made to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the saga. It includes Kingdom Hearts Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, which will introduce the trophy system of Playstation 3. Along with the two remakes in HD, will also include scenes from the game Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days in full HD.
This has marked the first time that Kingdom Hearts Final Mix has been released outside of Japan and the first time that Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories has been released in Europe and Australia.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX not only serves as a celebration of the 10th anniversary, but also updates the games that compose it to better adapt them to the most recent installments of the saga. Common changes in all three games include support for various video outputs (480p, 720p, 1080i, 1080p) and audio output available in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS Digital Surround 5.1. A list of Trophies belonging to the PlayStation 3 system and one unlockable PlayStation 3 theme per game was added for each title. The models of certain characters were updated or replaced, such as those of Sora, Riku or Ansem, which were replaced by their renders in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and the models of Donald and Goofy, which were replaced by the Kingdom models Hearts II. Various textures have also been updated, and the background music has been remastered.
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix
Kingdom Hearts Final Mix was remastered in high definition. The No EXP and Combos Master skills have been added to the game. The Summon Menu has been moved to the fourth slot of the Commands Menu, and Reaction Commands that occupied this slot are now activated with the . Right analog stick controls camera instead of buttons y , similar to the handling in Kingdom Hearts II. Also, scenes can now be skipped. The Final Fantasy X-2 trailer that occupied the third line in the game's Main Menu has been replaced with the "Back" command, to return to the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX selection menu. Among the replaced models are those of Cinderella, Aurora, and Snow White, who were replaced by their models in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.
Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories
Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories was remastered in high definition. As the game can no longer connect with Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, the new requirement to unlock the Bonuses are: replay all scenes and view all Secret Reports, Roxas' Diary and the Character entries in Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days. Additionally, the Monochrome, Follow the Wind, Hidden Dragon, and Photon Scrubber attack cards have been replaced with new cards: Flashing, Night Roar, Total Eclipse, and Two Will Be One from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days.
Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days
In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days it was included as 2 hours and 50 minutes of high definition scenes across 109 "chapters". Also includes Roxas' Journal, Secret Reports, and character entries. Sir Christopher Lee, who originally voiced DiZ, was unable to provide a new dubbing, so Corey Burton redoubled all his lines. Wayne Allwine, who originally voiced King Mickey but has sadly passed away by mistake, is still on the cast list with Bret Iwan, who actually voiced Mickey.
Advertising campaign
A special Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX campaign for fans of the series took place at the London offices of Square Enix Europe.
Those lucky enough to see the remaster, talk about it, and received a Sombra Heartless plush, a phone strap accessory (choice of Donald or Mickey), and a limited-edition Kingdom Hearts deck of cards.
