Kingdom of Corona it is a world that first appears in Kingdom Hearts III. It is based on the Disney movie Tangled and in it it is possible to visit the tower where Rapunzel is imprisoned.

In this quiet and peaceful world, Sora, Donald and Goofy run into a petty thief, Flynn Rider, on the run from the Heartless. After the fight, they follow the trail of Flynn until they reach the Tower, where inside, Flynn is interrogated by Rapunzel, who makes a deal with him; take her to the kingdom of Corona to see the lanterns that will be seen on her birthday and bring her back to the tower and return the bag with the stolen crown. Rapunzel leaves the tower for the first time in 18 years and in a carousel of emotions, she meets Sora, Donald and Goofy, Flynn's "helpers". Meanwhile Mother Gothel discovers that Rapunzel has disappeared and with her, her magical hair, then Marluxia appears to talk to her.

In the course of the outside world, Sora accompanies Rapunzel and Flynn to Corona, teaching Rapunzel the wonders of her world and the dangers, such as the Heartless and the Nobodies. An enemy "known" appears before Sora, Marluxia, who begs him to take care of Rapunzel, as she is the light of his world. When the trio search for Flynn and Rapunzel, they find Gothel who is looking for his daughter and disdaining his help, making Sora suspicious of his intentions. Again, the group meets Rapunzel and Flynn, along with the horse Maximus and they all arrive at Corona together.

Once in Corona, they enjoy the music festival and the lantern show at dusk. Rapunzel and Flynn are in a boat together in their romantic moment, but Flynn must attend to another matter and leaves Rapunzel alone. Then Marluxia appears to tell her that Flynn has abandoned her for the crown and tries to attack her with Nobodies, but Gothel appears to rescue her and take her back to the tower. Sora and the others see Rapunzel leave with her mother, but Marluxia gets in the way, stating that they need Rapunzel as one of the New Seven Hearts and for that, Mother Gothel holds her for them. Sora tries to fight Marluxia, but Marluxia falls into a deep sleep. Until Flynn and Maximus arrive to help him wake up, the entire group ride on horseback to reach the tower. Meanwhile, Rapunzel discovers that she is the lost princess of Corona and confronts Gothel.

Leaving Sora, Donald, and Goofy to fight the Heartless, Flynn arrives at the tower and is stabbed by Gothel. Rapunzel begs to let him heal and then leave with Gothel, but then Flynn, with a piece of crystal, cuts Rapunzel's long hair, losing her magical power and Gothel ages quickly and falls through the window, Marluxia takes the moment to transform her into a powerful Heartless. Sora and his friends fight and defeat the Heartless. Witnessing all the untimely death of Flynn, Rapunzel sings the magic incantation for the last time and sheds a tear, unleashing all her healing power and reviving her beloved Flynn; Sora, Donald and Goofy witness it all and hug each other happily.

Everyone outside the tower, Rapunzel and Flynn appreciate the great help of Sora, Donald and Goofy, between jokes and laughs. In the distance, Maleficent and Pete observe the group and continue their search for the Black Box.
