They are three characters from Tim Burton's famous play, "The Nightmare Before Christmas." They are the three most playful, mischievous and evil kids in Halloween Town. They always go in their bathtub walking with feet. They are based on children who make jokes on Halloween night, and they often say the phrase "Trick or Treat"

Lids (in Spanish bolt or padlock) He wears a demon costume with a mask included, he is the most stubborn, but still he likes to joke around and be with his friends Shock and Barrel. His skin is greenish, very pale, with blue lips and yellow eyes, assimilating a dead man.
Shock (in Spanish horror or scare) is the head of the group and wears a purple witch costume with a pointed hat and black gloves and boots, like Lock and Barrel she likes to joke. His skin is blue and his hair is long and unkempt. It is characterized by a large nose (surely, referring to the noses of witches, which used to be seen as old nostrils).
Barrel (in Spanish barrel or cannon) is, like his friends, very joking, but is the joke center of both of them. He is very clumsy, and he often misses plans or falls directly to the ground. He wears a skeleton costume, a black suit with drawings of bones, and a white mask with a big smile.

The mask of the three little ones is identical to his face.

Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days

Roxas meets him on the road and fights them. Lock, Shock, and Barrel always throw an Exploding Pumpkin at him.

Kingdom Hearts II

They appear for the first time in this game, helping the doctor in his laboratory, but the jokes cause the parts for the robot to be destroyed so the doctor throws them out calling them useless and that they were useless.

Lock, Shock y Barrel — Lock, Shock and Barrel without their masks

They team up with Maleficent to revive Oogie Boogie and try to kidnap Santa Claus, which they succeed. Then Sora, Donald and Goofy arrive, accompanied by Jack to stop them, when they arrive at the Cemetery they see how Oogie Boogie had revived but when they are tired, the three little ones are locked in a Maleficent Heartless called Cage. When you defeat them, they run away.

After defeating Oogie, and visiting Hallowen City for the second time, everyone suspects that they stole the gifts from Santa Nails, in the Toy Factory, you must knock them unconscious and trap them in Gift Boxes, but the conscious ones will free their friends .

When they catch them they tell you that they have not stolen the Objects and they leave there, that is when they realize that it was the doctor's robot which was kidnapping them, after this Lock, will offer you the mini-game of "Skateboard in the Workshop", which consists of skating through the gift shop doing as many tricks in a given time.
