PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Full Version Now Available on Xbox One
Today the full version (1.0) of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) for the Xbox One family of devices. This is a great moment for the PUBG community, with over eight million players, which has been part of the development process since it was unveiled on Xbox Game Preview last year.
The full version is loaded with amazing updates, like the Xbox One debut of the Sanhok Map, available today, along with the Sanhok Event Pass, which unlocks rewards for leveling up and completing missions. The Sanhok Map is included in version 1.0 released today, while the Sanhok event pass can be purchased from the Microsoft Store, or from the PUBG Store in-game.
Patch details
New map added: Sanhok (pronounced "sah-nok")
Sanhok is a 4km x 4km map (a quarter the size of Erangel or Miramar). Despite the fact that games tend to end earlier on this small island, the fighting is still massive. Each game has 100 players.
Some settings have been made specifically for this map as it fits with its unique design. Below the details.
- Performance: Distant characters and vehicles are not rendered the same in Sanhok, which improves server performance.
- Gameplay: The weather in Sanhok changes dynamically. Players can throw apples in the waiting area.
- Red zone: The red zone is smaller and lasts less in Sanhok. The center of the red zone appears outside the playing zone (the white circle), which means that players are more at risk outside the playing zone.
- Blue zone: You have less waiting time but more travel time. It's dynamic, it checks the remaining players before deciding on the new circle, adjusting the wait time and scrolling speed accordingly (this does not affect the size of the circle).
- Respawn balance: Item respawning has been customized in Sanhok so you can equip yourself for battle more quickly. Assault rifles, SMGs, and DMRs appear more often. 8x and 15x sights do not appear on this map, however they can still be obtained from the help boxes.
- In-game lobby: Everyone gets 20 apples that can be freely thrown. Practice your throwing skills while you wait for the game to start!
New weapons
- The QBZ It is an assault rifle that uses 5.56mm ammunition. It has a capacity of 30 rounds per magazine, expandable to 40 rounds.
- The QBU It is a new (and exclusive to Sanhok) DMR with a standard magazine of 10 rounds of 5.56mm ammunition, expandable to 20 with an expanded magazine.
- There is a bipod attached to the QBU - it will greatly reduce recoil if you shoot while lying down.
New Vehicle: Rony
It's a truck that's only available from Sanhok. This truck has room for 4 passengers and is perfect for the setting of this map. It is one of the largest vehicles in Sanhok so it can be used for transportation and cover.
Skin system for weapons
- Players can choose a skin for each weapon
- User Interface for the Skin System.
- You can see details about the equipped skin using the SEE MORE button
- To equip skins to the weapon, access the WEAPONS section in the CUSTOMIZE menu to equip the skin you want.
- To get skins for weapons you can get them in the Raider Boxes in SHOP> BOXES.
Parachute Skins
- The CUSTOMIZE> TEAM tab has been added. That's where the skins for the parachute are equipped.
- The tooltip for weapon accessories has been edited to make them more intuitive.
- The Bengal Tiger skin can be purchased in the STORE.
Box System

UI / UX
With the 3 maps available within the game, you can choose between two "map lists" instead of two maps.
- The Battle Royale roster contains Erangel and Miramar. Selecting it will make you access one of them randomly.
- The Mini Royale list contains Sanhok at the moment.
- If you select both lists, you will randomly access one of the 3 maps.
Performance
- Optimized high-resolution texture loads on Xbox One OG.
- Optimized the level of streaming on Xbox One X.
Error correction
- Fixed an issue where some items could not be picked up.
- Fixed an issue where having more than one controller connected:
- Sensitivity decreased after ADS
- It disabled the driving of vehicles
- Fixed an issue where frames would drop when destroying vehicles / boats.
- Fixed an issue where the screen would darken in HDR on some monitors.
- Fixed an issue where the character seemed to move faster after taking certain steps near the stair railings.
- Fixed an issue where the player was unable to navigate the attachable add-ons for S1897, S686 shotguns.
War Mode / Custom Match
In order for the matchmaking to be smooth, we have decided to release them on the live server with a time interval (Sanhok → War Mode → Custom Match). In this way we ensure that everyone can enjoy the new content and can delve into it in time, without having long waiting times to see each content.
Sanhok is available today and we look forward to bringing you War Mode as a weekend event in late September and the ability to create Custom Games in mid-October.
