Strategy
- Due to her range and area damage, the Princess is a strong support unit. However, the low amount of damage it deals along with its very low attack speed make it a very weak counter for almost any unit, except for swarms. The Bolt has great synergy with the Princess as together they can instantly eliminate Hordes of Minions and Goblins.
- A good method of dealing some early damage to your opponent's tower is to set up the Princess on the bridge early in the game if she appears in your first deck of cards. He will start shooting at the tower. It is quite difficult for the opponent to react to this and you will catch him off guard.
- When defending, pay attention and try to guess if the opponent has a Princess in their deck of cards and cycle your cards in the center of the Arena to increase your chances of eliminating the Princess when she is deployed.
- Skeletons are the cheapest counter to a distracted Princess on the bridge, but they can be eliminated with a spell before they can even hit her, so players shouldn't just rely on them.
- Despite its low damage per second, it deals moderate damage and has an extremely long range. This means that it will easily affect the outcome of a duel, and since it has a fairly long range, it can attack safely if there are units defending it. To keep her alive, protect her with low-cost units like the Knight and Goblins. However, keep in mind that the spells will ignore any type of defense and can kill her in any way.
- The Miner is a decent counter to a defensive Princess, as it will take her out in two hits and can be deployed anywhere near her. - February 29, 2016: The Princess was added to the game.
- February 23, 2016: A balance change reduced the Princess's health by 10%. Before the update, a level 1 Princess could not be defeated by level 8 Arrows (previously she could not be defeated by Arrows in Friendly Battles, since common cards were capped at level 8).
- May 3 from 2016: The May 2016 update fixed the "Range Issue" and reduced the Princess's range from 9.5 to 9, but her area radius remains unchanged. Her description was changed as well, she used to say: "Fire a volley of flaming arrows halfway through the Arena. The princess is afraid of germs, so keep the mob away from her!"
- August 24st, 2016: A balance change reduced its area radius by 25%. It now has a radius of 2 squares, up from 2.5.
- May 6, 2019: A balance change increased the speed of the Princess's arrows by 33%.
