    Promotional card

HR Game cards are cards that are used for various online video games, usually for the purpose of gaining in-game membership, currency, and / or in some cases, exclusive items that can be used in-game.

On Roblox, they are known as promotional cards and can be used to purchase Roblox Premium or Robux (and previously Builders Club). However, online digital Roblox redemption codes, such as those found on Amazon, can only be used to redeem the equivalent Robux value of the virtual card. When redeemed, the user will get an exclusive item depending on where and when they purchased it. They can be purchased in $ 10, $ 25, and $ 40 increments - in some cases $ 5, $ 15, $ 50, or $ 10-100 / $ 25-200 - in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. With the launch of Premium, the Gift Cards section can be accessed by clicking the Gift Cards button in the menu (previously in the Events section).

Roblox has used "Fastcard", a popular system used by businesses to create and distribute gift cards, since the creation of the Roblox game cards.

On July 1, 2020, the original link "roblox.com/gamecards" was updated to redirect to "roblox.com/giftcards", possibly due to redundancy and unnecessary maintenance from having both links running, as well as a attempt to help modernize the site.

    Roblox Balance

When a game card is redeemed, the full Roblox balance (card value) of the Roblox card will be added to the consumer's account. It is equivalent to the value (s) of the different game cards and can be used to purchase the Premium or Robux subscription.

An update made in October 2019 allowed users to convert leftover Roblox credit to Robux.

    Business launch event

Roblox first released its game cards on September 26, 2010, at children's toy retailer Toys R Us in the United States. Roblox cards can now be found globally at different retailers in the United States, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

    Easier

A Roblox card can be used to buy Robux or a Premium subscription. The consumer can scratch a gray security bar on the back of the card that reveals a PIN code number. The PIN code can be written in the game cards section of the website, where it can be redeemed. Game cards can also be used to obtain certain exclusive items (usually related to the time of year), depending on the quantity or store; when redeemed, the items will be added to the consumer's account. Available items change every month and can be viewed in the game cards section of the website.
