Roblox Premium It is a paid membership that replaces the traditional Builders Club. It is primarily a name change, as most of the current benefits were also retained with Builders Club.
Since mid-August 2019, it has been in place to select users, prioritizing those with existing BC memberships who live in the UK and Canada.
On September 23, 2019, Premium was officially launched replacing the Builders Club in almost all users and territories.

History
Premium was first confirmed on June 10, 2019, after "Premium" was added to the MembershipType enumeration. [1] [2] [3] It was first speculated when an icon named "icon_premium-16.png" was added to the Roblox files. Later changes to CoreScripts further increased the idea that a new membership was being added. This can also be confirmed through the content within the update page URL [4] [5] [6] as it contains "premium" in it. The web APIs have also been updated to give the idea that a new membership is being added. For example, https://www.roblox.com/mobileapi/userinfo has "IsPremium" at the end. [7] [8]
It was confirmed that Premium will replace Builders Club, when the BC overlay endpoint was changed on August 10, 2019, to always return "empty.png".
Purchase Plans
Membership plans for Roblox Premium are ranked based on the monthly amount of Robux they provide. Compared to the Builders Club, all memberships share the same name and icons rather than having different names, and Robux are provided once after each renewal date rather than gradually each day.

Curiosities
- It is widely suspected that the implementation of this membership results in the Builders Club bonus items, such as the Builders Club hard hat, being unavailable.
- The end of the API https://premiumfeatures.roblox.com/v1/users/1/subscriptions can be used to see if a user has a lifetime subscription, as well as when their expiration and renewal dates are.
- Replace the '1' with the ID of the user whose membership you want to have verified.
- Users who had the prototype version of this exclusive membership do not own a corresponding Roblox badge showing Premium ownership. Instead, they have the Outrageous Builders Club badge on their profile.
- This could be because the highest level of Builders Club (OBC) is directly replaced by Premium awarded to these users. A membership badge has yet to be implemented.
- It is speculated that the original plans for the membership transfer were to unsubscribe from the user's builders club and refund the amount of Robux they would have if they continued with the builders club.
- The price of the three plans is the same as the first 3 Robux packages, so it makes it more advisable to buy Premium than a Robux package since they give you more Robux than in a normal Robux package.
