Saïx, number VII of Organization XIII, nicknamed "The Lunar Diviner ", is an antagonist character in Kingdom Hearts II and second in command in the Organization. He also acts as Roxas's superior in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and appears as a member of the Seekers of Darkness in Kingdom Hearts III. He has an X on his forehead whose origin is unknown. Its element is the Moon, acting as a wink to the werewolves, in contact with it, Saïx's cold and passive character gives way to an uncontrollable aggressiveness that makes him destroy everything he finds in his wake. Several winks have been made to him on the Internet, calling him the "little dog" of the Organization for his absolute obedience to Xemnas and as a nod to his lycanthropic nature. His weapon is a Claymore. It is Isa's incorporation.

Appearance

Saïx is a stocky young man with long electrified blue hair shaped like a back tupe and two long locks that fall down his face to his chest. He has yellow eyes and a very characteristic X-shaped scar that crosses his forehead and part of his face. Despite his calm character, he possesses a lot of physical strength, being able to handle his heavy greatsword with one hand and great skill. He wears the organization's tunic with extremely wide sleeves that reach long to the hands.

Personality

Like the rest of the members of Organization XIII, Saïx is cold, cruel and unscrupulous, he is an expert when it comes to manipulating and dominating the hearts of others, he also has a calm character and some would say that normally passive, although very strict, which makes other members (like Demyx) fear, respect and detest him in equal measure. When he uses the power of the moon, his character becomes aggressive and uncontrolled, in complete contrast to his calm nature.

Arms

Saïx uses a large weapon called a Greatsword or Claymore. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, this weapon has various shapes with different names, just like the keyblade keychains of the protagonists. Most of the names on his weapon have something to do with the moon, night, or madness. Saïx's predefined Greatsword is called the Lunatic.

His prank weapons are Solo Dessert (a banana) and Luna Conejera. When he goes into his insane state, Saïx's Greatsword somehow "opens" and gets a complementary blade.

Surprisingly, his joke weapons are the ones that change the appearance of the blade (more radically) when activating its limit, since Luna Conejera, goes from having a moon to having the image of a rabbit as a final.

Curiosities

• He is one of the members of the Organization with the most plot weight in the game's plot.
• Her name is an anagram of her original name "Isa" plus an X.
• Saïx falsely planned together with Axel to overthrow the other members of the Organization, to gain complete control of Kingdom Hearts and thus regain a heart for both of them. For this reason, he sent Axel to assassinate Zexión in order to get closer to Xemnas as second in command, and allowed the extermination of the founding members and most rebellious neophytes. However, subsequent events in Kingdom Hearrts 3D: Dream Drop Distance revealed that Saïx's true plan was for his old friend to end up succumbing to darkness, thus serving as another potential container for Xehanort's heart (probably at the request of Xehanort). Saïx himself who really still appreciated Lea as his best friend, and felt convinced to make him change sides) or at least keep him busy within the organization to prevent Xemnas from changing his mind and deciding to do without him too, however Axel It turned out to be too close to his new friends and despite having no memories and (supposedly) having no heart, it was impossible for him to betray them. This confuses and infuriates Saïx, who on the one hand did not really want to lose his only real friend, but who on the other considers Axel weak and useless as a container for Xehanort. This frustrates him and is quite likely the reason why he shows so much effort in searching for Axel in Kingdom Hearts II.
• In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, his Anti-form appears as a boss. He is the only member of Organization XIII to have such a form.
• His strange X-shaped scar has been the subject of multiple theories, from showing surrender to darkness to acceptance of being incorporeal, but none of them have been confirmed.
• In his childhood, before becoming a Nobody, he was good friends with Lea (Axel's original self).
• In Kingdom Hearts 3D he makes an appearance as a member of the new Organization XIII, with a full body (since he was not found in Radiant Garden), although it is not known if he will call himself with his original name (Isa) or that of his incorporeal (Saïx), the second being more likely because he is still within the Organization like Xigbar.
