Details

It can be obtained from chests after training has been achieved.
Deploy 15 Skeletons with a single target, hit melee with very low hit points and damage.
3 units of elixir are required to set up this card.

Strategy

Due to its large amount and high damage per second overall, the Skeleton Army is very effective against single-target enemy troops such as the PEKKA or the Giant.
- Another benefit is that the Skeleton Army has a low cost of 3 elixir, making it a very versatile card that can give the player an elixir advantage in almost any situation.
- Although individually low health, their large numbers allow them to effectively block most troops and siege buildings. This can even work with air troops, such as the Inferno Dragon because the Skeleton Army can stop and push the Infernal Dragon away from the Tower, giving the tower a chance to damage the Infernal Dragon.
- They are very effective against troops that prioritize structures like the Hog Rider if they are ignored.
- Despite being incredibly weak susceptible to area damage, the Skeleton Army is capable of countering troops with directional area damage such as the Mage or the Bomber. For this to work, the Skeleton Army must be placed directly on top of the unit, surrounding it and overwhelming its area damage before the swarm is eliminated.
Although they are powerful in a group, they are very weak to area damage. Units and spells with low cost area damage are the most effective counters.
- Other swarm troops such as the Barbarians and the Minion Horde can be a more favorable substitute, as they have more hit points compared to the Skeleton Army. However, they have a higher elixir cost and rather serve as a spell bait.
- The Skeleton Army can beat the opponent into using its area damage spell, allowing you to use another swarm with high area damage like the Goblin Gang without risk.
  - Unlike the Goblin Gang, the Skeleton Army can be completely countered by a large number of spells.

January 4, 2016: The Skeleton Army is released.
February 19, 2016: A roll upgrade increases Skeleton hit points by 11%.
May 18, 2016: A roll upgrade increases Skeleton hit points by 5%.
4 July of 2016: The tournament update increased the number of Skeletons generated from 20 to 21.
- Clash Royale noted that the fourth Skeleton Skeleton (which deployed 3 units) had joined the Skeleton Army, making it 21.
- The new skeleton that was attached was called Ledoot in English, according to the updated description.
- The deployment pattern was compressed when the letter was released into the river. Previously, the Skeletons could be deployed on the river, moving some into enemy territory.
October 20, 2016: A rolling upgrade lowered the Skeleton Army's elixir cost from 4 to 3, increased its levels by 5, and reduced the number of Skeletons spawned from 21 to 16.
November 1 from 2016: An update removed Ledoot's name from the description.
January 23, 2017: A rolling update reduced the number of Skeletons spawned from 16 to 15.
April 19 from 2017: A rolling update reduced the number of Skeletons spawned from 15 to 14.

Curiosities

The Skeleton Army is one of 10 cards related to skeletons. The other cards are: Skeletons, Bomber, Witch, Tombstone, Bomb Tower, Graveyard, Giant Skeleton, Bombastic Globe, and Guards.
In English, one of the skeletons is named Larry, this being a reference to Larry from Clash of Clans.
It is the card that deploys the most units in the game.
It has the highest overall damage per second in the game. At 8th level, it deals 1372 points of damage per second if all units attack the same target. This is 2.5 times the damage that the PEKKA deals and even more than the maximum damage of the Infernal Dragon.
