    Stationery

Letter papers or stationery (Stationary in English) is the medium on which to write letters. In most cases they can be purchased from the Tendo and Nendo Shop (in versions prior to Animal Crossing: New Leaf from Tom Nook's Shop) in batches of four sheets, giving you four different letters to write respectively.

Each batch of four tends to cost about 160 Berries (as Tom Nook says in Animal Crossing: Population: Rising! Not a bargain, it's a gift). Separately, each leaf is worth 40 Berries, although they cannot be purchased one at a time.

When you sell the letter papers, in batches of four, you will receive 40 Berries, but each sheet is respectively worth 10 Berries. Thus, if you buy a batch of 4 and then sell it, you will have a loss of 120 Berries, which comes to cost a sea bass in Animal Crossing: Population: on the rise! .

    Letter papers

In total, there are 69 types of letterheads. The difference between them in many cases is purely aesthetic, but it will give your cards a personal touch.

    Using the Letter Paper

To use letter paper, you must have at least one free space in your letter pocket and press Stationery on the paper and give the option to write. Thus, you will choose the sender and start typing with the keyboard that will appear on the screen. You can change your name, but not change the sender's, although you can add words in front of and behind it such as Dear name. In Animal Crossing: Population: on the rise! You don't have to put a body on the letter, although from Animal Crossing: Wild World it is necessary to put at least one letter in it.

Once you finish, you can add a gift by dragging the object to the letter (which will appear in blue because it is something that you are going to send to someone and not something received) and then you just have to go to the Post Office1 and deliver it so that it send.

Within a day or two, the recipient will receive your letter and, if they deem it appropriate, will respond to you. It is important to have an empty mailbox for the letters that may be arriving, since if it is full, no more letters will arrive.

    Annotations

    1. ↑ In Animal Crossing: Wild World and Animal Crossing: City Folk / Let's Go To The City you will have to go to the Town Hall, to the window on the right that also acts as a Post Office
