The Big Setup

The Big Setup (in Spanish El Gran Plan) is the fourth episode of the Angry Birds game, containing worlds 9, 10 and 11, with 15 levels each. It is the episode in which the big red bird (Terence) is introduced. It is included in the normal and Chrome versions of angry birds.

Screen

In this episode, the pigs steal the eggs and kidnap all the birds, while they rebuild the old scenarios. But there is a bird they did not catch: Terence. He is willing to free all his friends from the pigs. The strange thing is that on the way he only manages to free one of them, the Green Bird. Since then, Terence and Hal are the only birds available in the episode.

"The World of Angry Birds Official Guide" gives the following description:

Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, Red and the birds have only gone and got themselves captured at the Cobalt Plateau by the pigs! The pigs couldn't believe their luck and with the Flock caged, they've grabbed the eggs. Luckily, help is at hand in the gargantuan form of Terence. No one knows where he came from. No one is even sure if Terence is really his name. All we do know is that he's a demolition ball of a bird. Those hogs don't stand a chance against this titanic tweeter!

The route passes through all the scenarios of the previous episodes, from ¨Poached Eggs¨ to ¨Danger Above¨ (with the exception of the sky) all with a slight change that in all of these includes scenery of cranes and other construction equipment, it is worth highlighting that most of the levels of this episode are slightly similar to those of previous episodes (explaining the aforementioned plot).

Here it has the news that the vast majority of pigs now have helmets, in this case it is the first episode in which the common pigs, the Mustache Pig and the king wear some kind of hat on their head as protection, something that would be repeated in later episodes.

Curiosities

• In this episode the first appearance of Terence occurs.
• Starting from this episode, the pigs begin to wear hats and various accessories, which in this episode are the construction hats.
• In this episode Hal is playable again, despite being captured at the beginning of the episode as well, due to Terence rescuing him.
• It is the only episode that does not occur in a new location; rather, it occurs in the same places as the previous episodes.
