Animal Crossing: Wild World

In Animal Crossing: Wild World, El Alpiste is located on the ground floor of the Museum and is run by Figaro, who serves various coffee blends at 200 Berries. The Player can only buy one cup of coffee per day and if a coffee is served every day for seven days, the player will become friends with Figaro. Other special characters, such as Fran, Sol, El Capitan, Estrella and Rese T., will occasionally visit El Alpiste. Every Saturday night after 20:00, Totakeke will host a concert where he will perform a song at the Player's request.

Figaro offers different coffee blends for the Player:

• Paloma Mix: It is the mixture that always serves; Prepared with fresh stream water, freshly ground coffee, and at 80ºC to appreciate all its flavor. It is worth 200 berries, like all other mixes.
• Pichona Mixture: It is the same as the Paloma Mix, but also contains pigeon milk. Figaro offers us the option of drinking this milk with coffee when we become regular customers of Alpiste. Interestingly, whether or not you drink milk with your coffee will always cost the same.
• Chocolate Mix: Chocolate coffee available only on Valentine's Day at Let's Go To The City. It costs the same as a normal coffee (200 berries). Figaro and the clients of the place will talk to you about many things that normally do not tell you only during this day.

Animal Crossing: City Folk/Let's Go To The City

In Animal Crossing: City Folk, El Alpiste does not undergo many changes in relation to Wild World, the residents of the town visit it as well as the special characters, El Alpiste also receives a new service, the gyroid warehouse. Where the player can leave their gyroids with Figaro to save space in their closet and home. However, it only stores one of each gyroid. The player will be able to get this service after befriending Figaro by having coffee every day for seven days and eventually Figaro will offer this service. The coffee options are the same as at Wild World.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf, El Alpiste is a Municipal Project, and like in Wild World and City Folk it is run by Figaro, who serves various coffee blends for 200 Berries. The player can also get a part-time job at the cafeteria after he drinks seven cups of coffee by talking to Figaro while standing on the right side of the bar.

To unlock El Alpiste, the player must have already built the second floor of the Museum and donated at least fifty specimens to the museum. Seven days after the second floor of the museum has been built, Socrates can be found in the museum thinking, by speaking to him, Socrates will add El Alpiste to the list of municipal projects and it can be built at a cost of 298,000 Berries.

The player can buy a cup of coffee for 200 Berries. After taking four cups, the player will have the option of ordering their coffee to go, ordering it from the right side of the bar. As in previous games, the player can sometimes meet special characters and neighbors at El Alpiste.

In this new installment there are substantial changes regarding the variety of coffee. The player can choose between four types of coffee; Kilimanjaro, Mix, Mocha and Blue Mountain, in addition to the amount of milk and the amount of sugar that the Player wants. Figaro will remember the player's preferences and offer two options when visiting him as a regular customer: "the usual!", If you prefer to take what you usually drink; or "surprise me!", if you prefer to change any of your preferences.

After drinking seven cups of coffee, Figaro will allow the Player to work between 11:00 and 23:00 on non-holiday days. The player generally cannot work if a neighbor or special character is already in the cafeteria. The player will be able to serve coffee to the neighbors, each one with different preferences for coffee, quantity of milk and sugar, and while working, he will serve three neighbors and a special character to whom he will have to serve a coffee to go. The neighbors of your town usually mention some of their coffee preferences the first times they are served; The neighbors from outside always mention their preferred coffee bean and another of their tastes, and the special characters will not make their tastes explicit while they are being served. At the end of his turn, Figaro will pay the player "in kind".

In the film, Ai arrives at El Alpiste in search of Apollo and once he arrives, he meets César and Cirano.
