    The log

The log It is a Clash Royale legendary rarity card that can be obtained from the Builder's Workshop arena (Arena 6).

    Details

    • It can be obtained from chests after reaching Arena 6 or through a Legendary Chest.
    • It is an area damage spell with a wide radius and moderate damage.
    • The Log costs 2 elixir.
    • Once deployed, El Tronco rolls across the arena, damaging and knocking back all ground troops in its path before disappearing after rolling for 11.1 units.

    Strategy

    • As it is a cheap spell, The Log can be used to damage and push multiple ground troops that approach your defenses, such as Barbarians or Goblins.
      • The push is similar to the Fireball, but all ground troops are pushed back.
      • It can be used to counter the Barrel of Goblins and gain the advantage of 1 elixir.
    • It can be an alternative to the Arrows, as they have a similar damage and area of effect.
      • The main difference is that The Log costs one less elixir but does not affect air troops. That is why it is recommended to have other cards with area damage to deal with Minions and the Minion Horde.
      • It can also be an alternative to the Shock, since both cards have the same elixir cost. The two cards can stop the charged attack of a Dark Prince or Prince if you are low on elixir or if your small units are out of rotation. However, they have slight differences when it comes to being used. The Log will not restart Sparky's attack, but the Bolt will.
      • The Log can counter large slow-moving units such as the PEKKA or the Giant, by pushing a unit over the river back to the player's side.
      • The Log effectively counters the Tombstone. If the Tombstone is around half life, The Log can be used to destroy the Tombstone and Skeletons that appear afterwards.
      • The Log and Fire Spirits combo can counter the Trio of Musketeers if The Log is placed correctly. The Log can momentarily push and paralyze the Trio of Musketeers so that the Fire Spirits can damage them.
      • If a Miner is placed too close to the King's Tower you can use one end of The Trunk and push the Miner towards the King's Tower, activating it in the process.
      • The Mega Knight can jump onto the Trunk when he makes his jump, the Hog Rider, the Ram Rider and the Royal Hogs can also jump onto the Trunk if they are jumping over the river.

    Curiosities

    • The Log and the Graveyard are the only legendary spells in the game.
    • Unlike other spells, it can only be placed in the player's territory. However, it would not be beneficial to place it in enemy territory even if it could, as part of its travel distance would be wasted.
    • Like all Legendary cards, with the exception of the Miner and Graveyard, they fall from the sky when deployed.
    • The card's description may hint that The Log was created by the Woodcutter, apparently from a spilled bottle of Fury.
    • The Log can be seen in the illustration of Arena 6 (Builder's Workshop) in the lower left corner. Before El Tronco was introduced to the game, it had no thorns.
    • It is the cheapest legendary card in the game.
    • Despite only attacking ground troops and structures, if there is an air trooper in its effect range, it will blink, an effect that should not happen, as it will not be affected by The Trunk.
