The servers for FIFA, Apex Legends and other EA games are down (and they are already working to fix it)

It seems like Electronic Arts is having server issues of several of his most popular games. Starting at approximately five thirty in the afternoon today (Spanish peninsular time), several titles in the series FIFA, including the 2020 edition, as well as Apex Legends. In several tweets, the company has admitted that they are working on solving them, although they have not offered an estimate of when they would return.

We're looking into issues with our websites, games, and services. We'll be back with updates as we have them.

We are aware of the complaints around connecting to EA servers and are actively investigating. Match creation has been temporarily disabled to prevent disconnects during this time.

"We are investigating problems with our websites, games and services. We will report updates as soon as we have them." The official Twitter accounts for FIFA games, as well as FIFA mobile games, have also reported these issues.

This is the second time in a month that EA servers go down globally. On February 18, the FIFA and Apex Legends servers were also affected again. In that case, no explanation was given, although it would not be the first time (and probably not the last) that players have complained about the poor quality of EA's online games.

In cases like Apex Legends, these problems make it completely inaccessible, a problem perhaps derived from the traffic of the game, which has just started its fourth season. We'll keep you posted if there is any news, but in the meantime, better stay out of EA's games, stores, and online services until normalcy returns.
