On the occasion of the recent launch of Samsung's Galaxy S10 phone, the Korean manufacturer will hold the special event Ninja X IKON and Fortnite, which can be followed in streaming, and which, among other activities, will feature both the well-known youtuber and the K-Pop star, IKON.
In the event there will also be time to play, and here is the interesting point for regular players of the Epic battle royale: This competition, which will be only on the aforementioned Samsung phone, will take place in a new game map in Fortnite and a new mode, for now baptized as Detonation, in the absence of a name in Spanish. As you can see, it is a completely new map, in which we play in teams: one team defends two very specific places, and the other must destroy them. The urban-looking environment has elements that are not on the usual map of the game, such as an area that seems underground, such as a subway.
Neither Epic, nor Samsung, have spoken, at least yet, of the exclusivity of this new game mode and map of Fortnite, so it is not totally unreasonable to think that, in the future, we can see it as a temporary mode for all platforms. Without a doubt, a clear example that Epic continues to work on Fortnite to keep it alive for much longer, with additions of this type.
