Development

Tifa was intended to be featured with Cloud and Sephiroth in the original Kingdom Hearts, but was dropped due to lack of time.

When Sora visits Hollow Bastion for the first time, he meets Tifa, who inspects Ansem the Wise's Study, looking for "a guy with spiky hair." Sora pulls one of his pickaxes at Tifa, but Tifa laughs and says "more spiky".

Tifa continues to search for Cloud, and almost finally manages to be with him during the Heartless invasion, but he pursues Sephiroth, leaving her fighting a large group of Heartless. Later, she fights alongside Sora in the Gorge, preceded by Yuffie and Leon, and followed by Cloud.

After Sora defeats Sephiroth, Cloud and Sephiroth have their long-awaited battle. It is in the middle of this confrontation that Tifa finally catches up with Cloud. She tries to help Cloud, telling him that all he has to do is surround himself with light, telling Sephiroth that the darkness will always be there, but in a place that he cannot reach. She fights Sephiroth very briefly, and after this she gives Cloud the light to overcome the darkness, after which the two men return to battle and disappear once more, leaving the search for Tifa to continue. Before she leaves, Tifa gives Sora the Fenrir keychain, thanking him for his invaluable help.

Personality

Tifa comes across as good and strong, but reserved. She has proven to be resolutely loyal and persevering, as evidenced by her continued eagerness to help Cloud, despite setbacks. She is brave and confident of her abilities, as evidenced in her brief fight against Sephiroth.

Appearance

Like Cloud, Tifa appears in Kingdom Hearts II based on her appearance in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. She has brown hair that reaches roughly to her waist. Hidden behind her left ear, we can see a teardrop-shaped earring. Her eyes are rust-colored and she appears to wear pink lipstick. He wears a black leather tank top with a zipper down the front and a slightly longer white t-shirt underneath (similar to his original Final Fantasy VII shirt). Tifa also wears a black leather skort with two black ribbons tied on both legs. The reverse of this skort reaches down to the ground. Tifa also wears a pair of black leather gloves and black and white shoes, with black ribbons tied around each one.

Skills

Tifa possesses the same tremendous strength as in Final Fantasy VII, being able to perform high-level martial arts with ease, such as lifting a giant portrait of Xehanort and kicking a wall hard enough to shake an entire room (her great physical stamina shows comically into a little joke).

He can carry out his last limit called "Final Sky", which allows him to send a massive blast of energy to his opponent.

Tifa Lockhart is a character from Final Fantasy VII.

Designed by Tetsuya Nomura, Tifa is an expert in Zangan-Ryu martial arts, where she uses fists and feet as weapons. Tifa has long dark brown hair, split ends like a dolphin tail, and dark brown eyes, although in some descriptions her eyes have been red.

Profession: Owner and waitress of a bar called "The Seventh Heaven", located in Midgar, she is also a member of AVALANCHE.

Battle style: Close combat, applying Martial Arts.

Curiosities

Cloud and Sephiroth are the only Final Fantasy VII characters he interacts with and he never meets Aerith, Yuffie, or Cid. However, Yuffie is moot, because Tifa fights alongside Yuffie in Round 10 of the Hades Paradox Cup.
Although he appears in Hollow Bastion / Radiant Orchard, much like Cloud and Sephiroth, it is unclear if this is his home world, although it has been confirmed that Cloud is a native of Radiant Orchard.
In Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, Tifa's EX mode allows her to use her latest weapon, "Premium Heart" (Heart in Final Fantasy VII), a set of fighting gloves. In their version in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, they have the Kingdom Hearts logo on them.
Tifa was originally going to be an optional boss in the first Kingdom Hearts, but in the end the idea was scrapped and she was used in Kingdom Hearts II, where she was further developed as a character.

Although he was initially set to appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep alongside Leon, Aerith, Cloud, Yuffie, and Cid; they pulled out of the game because according to Nomura, there would already be too many story lines, and they would have lent itself to confusion.
