The wave painting (dynamic painting in English) is a painting introduced in Animal Crossing: City Folk / Let's Go To The City, whose real name is "The Great Wave off Kanagawa."
Description
"The Great Wave" is part of the "36 views of Mount Fuji", but in this case the sacred mountain gives prominence to this huge and dynamic tsunami, which almost hypnotizes the viewer.
The wave makes a perfect spiral that haunted artists like Van Gogh and many other impressionists who were beginning to rethink Western art. Whether it is an image of ying and yang, or the concept of the romantic sublime, the West was also swept away by the wave and its echoes are still perceived today in disciplines as diverse as comics, graphic design or even tattoos.
Hokusai, a very humble artist, was aware of the greatness of his work and visibly signs it at the top left.
