Woodcutter is a Clash Royale legendary rarity card that can be obtained from the Ice Peak arena (Arena 8).

Strategies

• The Lumberjack is most effective when supported by other troops because when he dies, the Fury spell will increase the damage output of the other troops (within its effective radius). Therefore, it is not efficient to use it alone. For this strategy, you have to place it near or in front of a push so that when it dies, many of the troops in the push survive and the Fury spell takes effect, making them much more lethal.
• It can also be used defensively. If it is defeated near your Tower, the Fury spell will fall on your towers, its attack speed increases. You can also take advantage of this by placing other buildings in front of or near your Tower.
• You can use the lumberjack in combination with a Horde of minions. Put the lumberjack first and the horde of minions right behind. The sand tower will target the lumberjack first and the horde of minions will deal massive damage to the tower.
• Counterattack: An Ice Golem and Fire Spirits combo is powerful enough to destroy this combo and gain a 5 Elixir advantage. Place the Ice Golem first to distract the woodcutter and minions, then place the fire spirits to defeat the minions and seriously damage the woodcutter.
• Counterattack: This can also be stopped by Arrows to defeat the Minions and a swarm card like the Skeleton Army or the Goblin Gang to deal with the Lumberjack.

• 4 July of 2016: The Lumberjack comes out, along with the Tournament Update.
• August 24, 2016: A change of balance increased the Lumberjack's speed from Fast to Very Fast, its attack speed from 1.1 to 0.7, and reduced its damage by 23%.
• September 19, 2016: a balance change reduced Fury's speed buff from 40% to 30% and its duration by 2 seconds, this also affected Lumberjack's Fury.
• November 1, 2016: A balance change increased Fury's speed buff from 30% to 35%.
• December 15, 2016: A balance change increased the Lumberjack's health points by 6%.
• March 13, 2017: The March 2017 update increased the level of Fury Spilled by the Lumberjack to be at the same level.
• April 19, 2017: A balance change increased the Lumberjack's health points by 4%.
• January 24, 2018: A balance change increased the Lumberjack's health points by 7%.
• August 5, 2019: The August 2019 update decreased the Lumberjack attack speed from 0.7 seconds to 0.8 seconds.

Curiosities

• During his deployment time, he can be seen drinking from his bottle of Fury.
• It is the only troop that can affect the stats of allied troops, through its bottle of Fury.
• The Woodcutter appears to be responsible for the creation of the Log. The Log became "bad" when a bottle of Fury was spilled on it, much like the one the Woodcutter drinks. Proof of this is its dropia description, and one of the loading screen data: "The Woodcutter and the Log have known each other for a long time."
• Some of the Lumberjack voice lines include: "Timber!", "Yee-HA!", "GAHAHAHA!"
• The Lumberjack has the second highest damage per second of all Legends (after the Infernal Dragon), and overall is one of the highest damage per second troops in the game.
• The Woodcutter is the only troop to drop a spell upon death.
