Xigbar he is member number II of Organization XIII and co-founder of it. He is nicknamed "The Sniper" due to his fighting style with his two Laser Pistols and his analytical and controlling personality, which keeps him alert at all times and thanks to which he always seems to be aware of everything that happens around him. He is Braig's incorporeal, former apprentice of Ansem the Wise, and guardian of Radiant Garden. His element is space manipulation, and he has the disembodied Sniper under his control.

Appearance

Xigbar is a man of slim build and quite tall compared to other members of the Organization, being second only to Xemnas and Lexaeus. He has an important scar on his left cheek and a patch on his right eye (Terra caused these wounds in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep to his complete being, Braig), and the light yellow left eye, a distinctive sign of the hearts surrounded by the Dark, like Xemnas or Saïx. His features are angular and his expression is often mocking. Her hair is very long, black with grayish streaks, and she wears it in a long ponytail that reaches almost to her buttocks. He wears the typical black trench coat of Organization XIII, although the sleeves are tight to the arms.

Personality

Xigbar is a mysterious man who likes to know everything around him. He is one of the most independent members of Organization XIII, and seems to have a great disinterest in hierarchy and obligations, since he let Zexión and Saïx take care of the job of second in command, despite the fact that No. II is him. Still, Xigbar's throne in the assembly hall is almost the highest after Xemnas', even higher than Saïx's, indicating that he is effectively fulfilling his duties and loyal to Organization XIII. He is the only member who mentions Xemnas, indicating that he knows the Great Mentor well. He is a devious and cunning man, and, in several scenes of the saga, it is appreciated that he knows much more information than he reveals. For example, in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, he reveals to Zexión, Xemnas' second-in-command, various facts about Number I and the Castle of Oblivion.

In Kingdom Hearts 3 it is revealed that he has a great role throughout the entire history of the saga, since in the game's epilogue it is revealed that he is Luxu, who has changed his body over the ages with him. In order to fulfill the task given by the Master of Masters and to closely monitor the Peeper, a key-sword that is handed down generation after generation and that possesses the eye of the Master of Masters.

Arms

Xigbar uses two Long Range Pistols that fire laser projectiles in the form of arrows, which can be driven into the ground and disappear, as seen in Kingdom Hearts II. Their default Pistols are called "Marksman". In Kingdom Hearts II, the projectiles that fire the Guns have a very long range and are automatically directed towards the player. This ability, combined with his control of space, makes the fight against Xigbar a long and complex fight. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, the names of their weapons and their appearance can change in a similar way to how the keychains of the Keyblade of the protagonists do. Many of their weapon names are based on demon names and firearm terminology, and several are named after enemies from the Final Fantasy series. However, in this game, the range of the laser projectiles is much smaller.

Xigbar's Pistols require reloading every certain number of shots, and have the ability to combine into a single, more powerful and accurate sniper rifle or, as seen in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, into a submachine gun. Xigbar's joke weapons are Dryer and Trumpet.

Like all characters it can be selected in mission mode, and also its weapons can change form and technique.

Curiosities

Xigbar calls Roxas to Sora constantly.
After disappearing, the tombstone representing his presence in Proof of Existence cracks and turns red.
He has a habit of giving nicknames to all the members of Organization XIII.
He is the first Nobody known to possess part of the Heart of Xehanort. This is demonstrated by the color of his eyes.
Like Axel uses a tagline a lot when speaking, in his case it is "More would like" ("As if" in English).
Possibly he from the beginning was already under Xehanort's influence. If we talk about his complete being Braig, in his first confrontation against Terra he did not possess the yellowish eyes that characterized Xehanort, he possesses them later in his confrontation with Aqua, so it could be said that he fell under her influence after his battle against Terra.
Despite his complicated gameplay in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Xigbar is Nomura's favorite playable character.
