El 100 Acre Forest, also written as Hundred Acre Forest, is an optional world based on the fictional world created by author AA Milne and the 22nd Disney animated film, "The Adventures of Winnie the Pooh." It is special in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, as it is "a world within a world". It is entered through a book in Ciudad de Paso and in Bastion Hueco / Vergel Radiante, respectively. The world is inside a magical book that Merlin keeps with him, and as Sora collects torn pages, the lost areas of the world are revealed and the story is re-told.

When Sora enters the book, he falls into a version of the 100 Acre Forest map. Classic locations like Pooh's House and Piglet's House, as well as the Muddy Path and Spooky's Cave, making this a world of too few to show for a change of day. Each location usually hosts a minigame with prizes that help Sora, Donald, and Goofy on their journey, even though Sora is the only one who enters this world.

There is no ruler in this world. Interestingly, throughout the entire series so far no enemy has appeared in this world. Because of this violence is downplayed, so the "Attack" command in this world is changed to the "Hit" command.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, the 100 Acre Forest is a world that is only available to play through the Dashboard, rather than a full world.

The Lock of this world closes when you finish rebuilding the book.

Kingdom Hearts

It is not known exactly in which part of the game the pages of the book are lost. Sora can enter the individual areas created by retrieving the pages. The starting area in Kingdom Hearts is the Meadow, where Sora meets Winnie the Pooh at his house, from there the story progresses and allows Sora to fulfill the objectives of each area, Owl explains the objective of each minigame. Pooh's house can also be visited from the inside. The first area of the recovered pages is the Honey Tree, the second is the Rabbit House, which can also be visited from the inside, allowing Sora to help both Rabbit and Tigger. In Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, this is divided into several rooms along a path, along with various minigames.
