One of the hardest points to master in a Battle Royale is choosing the best weapons For each situation, learn to master them and gain control of their recoil. A task that we will try to make easier with a guide the Apex Legends con all weapons ordered from worst to best.
We have separated all Apex Legends weapons by categories so that you know which options are the best of each group for your search for loot and, of course, we also give you some advice and opinions on how to choose one or the other depending on your style of play or situation.
Stop staining in Apex Legens is easy if you follow these tips
Light machine guns
- Spitfire: probably the group in which everything is a matter of taste because of how good both options are. The Spitfire is faster to prepare and control than its companion, so it all comes down to how you know how to take advantage of the benefits of each one. Be that as it may, it is difficult to opt for one or the other.
- Devotion: its ammunition is probably the only thing that it would put in the face of a machine gun that, once started reaching its maximum rate of fire, is a true marvel. You have to train your recoil, without a doubt more vertical than that of the Spitfire, but once the fire has started, or with the right accessories to reduce that warm-up time, it is unrivaled.
Damage to the body | Head damage | Ammunition | Reload in seconds | Damage per second | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Spitfire | 20 | 40 | Energy | 2,8 | 170 |
Devotion | 17 | 34 | Heavy | 2,8 | 255 |
Shotguns
- Mozambique: It has become the joke of Apex Legends because of a performance that even its developers have commented on from time to time. It can be of great help in the first close-range encounters when you are looking for better options, but it is advisable to go for something with better characteristics as soon as possible.
- Eva-8 Auto: another shotgun that just can't find its place in the game. By speed and damage per second, it could well win the attention of more than one aggressive player, but in the comparison with the two workhorses in this category, he loses by a landslide.
- Peacekeeper: without a doubt the most recommended shotgun that you can find lying around. Remarkably useful even over longer distances than normal, its star-shaped pellets are a real treat. Worst? Be slow enough that someone with skill can fight you.
- Mastiff: a legendary weapon with 20 shots in its magazine that can beat whatever you put on it. It is without a doubt the best shotgun and the best weapon to choose from in short distances. You just take care of hitting the shot.
Damage to the body | Head damage | Ammunition | Reload in seconds | Damage per second | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Mozambique | 45 | 66 | Cartridges | 2,1 | 135 |
Eva-8 Auto | 63 | 90 | Cartridges | 2,5 | 134 |
Peacekeeper | 110 | 165 | Cartridges | 2,5 | 107 |
M | 144 | 288 | One size fits all | 1 | 230 |
High-pressure guns
- P2020: Only if you count Mozambique as a gun will you find a worse option in this category. Fast but too weak to be an option to keep in mind in your loot searches.
- RE 45 Auto: Its agility and rate of fire make it a hypervitamin P2020, which added to its charger already makes it a good option during the first few measures, but do not intend to go further by relying on its cadence or damage because you will be scalded.
- Wingman: the equivalent of the mighty revolver in Apex Legends. A powerful and deadly pistol with which, if you have good aim and tend to hit the headshots, you can score some very epic kills. To take into account only if you have already mastered the game and you are able to show off.
Damage to the body | Head damage | Ammunition | Reload in seconds | Damage per second | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
P2020 | 12 | 18 | Lightweight | 1,25 | 86 |
RE 45 Auto | 11 | 16 | Lightweight | 1,75 | 137,5 |
Wingman | 45 | 90 | Lightweight | 2,10 | 154 |
Assault rifles
- Hemlok: I'm not much of a fan of burst firearms, so I acknowledge that my preferences in that regard may have affected my feelings with it. If you are good at hitting the trigger, in less than a second you can exceed 100 points of damage, but the wait between one burst and another, especially if you are under enemy fire, can mean the difference between life and death. .
- Flatline: With the Flatlina we raised the bar a bit to get into a full-fledged assault rifle. It is one of the most balanced weapons in the game, a basic rifle that can save your neck in almost any situation thanks to its low recoil, but unfortunately for it there are other more recommended options.
- R-301 Carbine: The first of those options is the Carbine, which in addition to mounting light ammunition that you will probably have found kicking, has a beastly damage per second. With good accessories, you will not have to worry at all about its slight setback and it will become your preferred option in this segment.
- Havoc: We close with Havoc, the recent addition to the Apex Legends family of assault rifles. Fantastic choice if not because there are two factors to take into account that can make things difficult for us. On the one hand, its ammunition, much less common than the rest. On the other, the warm-up it needs before starting to vomit bullets if we don't have the right accessory anchored to it.
Damage to the body | Head damage | Ammunition | Reload in seconds | Damage per second | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Hemlok | 18 | 36 | Heavy | 2,4 | 108 |
Flatline | 16 | 32 | Heavy | 2,4 | 160 |
R-301 Carbine | 14 | 28 | Lightweight | 2,4 | 168 |
Havoc | 18 | 36 | Energy | 3 | 202 (404 with shot change) |
Sniper rifles
- Triple Take: like turning a shotgun into a rifle. It is undoubtedly one of the rarest weapons in the game, but also a very good option if we know how to control its shot when the enemy is relatively close. By far, on the other hand, it will be difficult to add up all the damage that it is capable of offering.
- Longbow: the most recommended classic option if we do not get into the hassle of placing ourselves in the adventure of going in search of a legendary sniper rifle. From long distances, it is without a doubt the best option, but be prepared to suffer if you find someone agile at short / medium distance.
- Scout: it may not be the favorite of the most purists of this type of weapon. In few occasions you will be able to knock someone down with one shot, but on the other hand you can ventilate an entire team from afar without worrying about the recharge or the rate of fire.
- Kraber: It's what legendary weapons have, which are named for a reason. The worst thing is that you have eight shots, after that you are sold. The best part is that a well-calculated hunk can beat almost anyone you come across.
Damage to the body | Head damage | Ammunition | Reload in seconds | Damage per second | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Triple Take | 69 | 138 | Energy | 2,6 | 86 |
Longbow | 55 | 110 | Heavy | 2,66 | 66 |
Scout | 30 | 60 | Lightweight | 2,4 | 135 |
Kraber | 125 | 250 | One size fits all | 3,2 | 150 |
Submachine guns
- Alternator: we closed the classification of families of weapons with submachine guns. Here the least recommended would be Alternator, with the lowest firing rate of the group. Easy to master due to the verticality of its recoil, but very difficult to face other weapons of the same family or even the worst of other classes. It may help you for the first few bars, but find another option as soon as possible.
- Prowler: There are not a few fans of this option, especially when accompanied by an accessory such as the extended magazine, but it is not the easiest to master and it is not the one with the most efficient rate of fire for what we value in a submachine gun. Its recharge, in addition, is somewhat higher than that of the juiciest option.
- R-99: apparently it has everything you could ask of a submachine gun. It is devilishly fast, with a good magazine and the speed of its bullets is tremendous. Its recoil is somewhat more difficult to control, but once you get the hang of it (and don't intend to fight a sniper from long range) it will be one of your great choices.
Damage to the body | Head damage | Ammunition | Reload in seconds | Damage per second | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Alternator | 13 | 19 | Lightweight | 1,9 | 130 |
Prowler | 14 | 21 | Heavy | 2 | 123 |
R-99 | 12 | 18 | Lightweight | 1,8 | 216 |
