Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Ventus

Radiant Garden scientist interested in the studies of everything related to hearts. After being orphaned, poor Ienzo takes him under his wing and raises him along with his companions.

History

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Even appears for the first time when approaching Dilan and Aeleus, and openly wonders what will become of the castle if they abandon their posts. Aeleus begins to argue, wanting to go after Ventus and a Nescient, but even assures them that Ventus could handle it alone, because he is "special".

Dilan reminds Aeleus of his job to protect the castle, and the two returned to their posts at the gate, and are still there as seen in a Ventus vs. Nose ending. It is noted that Ventus has no darkness in his heart, and after commenting that they have retired, he deems it impossible and walks back to the castle.

Later, he even looks around for Ienzo, calling him by name. He is found walking towards Ventus, and the two approach him, reminding Ienzo not to walk away because it is dangerous. He then turns to Ventus and thanks him, explaining that Ienzo's parents have passed away, and that he is in charge of resuscitating them. Ventus asks if he has seen his friend, and Even replies that he had seen him in the castle garden. As Even and Ienzo were about to leave, Even declares his belief that they are destined to meet again one day.

Entre Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep y Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days

Worried that the darkness in people's hearts would eventually consume his world, Ansem and his apprentices began to perform tests on Xehanort's heart, even showing a special interest in him. Finally, Ansem creates a laboratory in the basement of his castle for this type of experimentation.

However, even the apprentices and others had their own intentions for the laboratory, and they began conducting inhuman experiments on the human heart and the darkness within it. This type of experimentation led to the creation of the Heartless. Ansem soon discovered their secret experiments, and immediately ordered them to stop. One day, after being aware of his research data being reviewed by King Mickey, Ansem found that the effects of his experiments had become irreversible. Ansem was banished to the realm of darkness by his apprentices.

In time, Still and the other five apprentices also dabbled deep into the dark through their continued experiments. Even, along with the others, were consumed by darkness, transforming into a Nobody. Since the apprentices all had strong wills, their Nobody is Vexen, who helped found Organization XIII.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

After the destruction of his Heartless and Vexen, Even reverts to his human form. He awakens in the Heartless Factory alongside Dilan, Ienzo, Aeleus, and Lea, but is not fully recovered by the time Lea leaves.

Appearance

Even's appearance exactly matches that of his Nobody, except for the different outfits and his eyes, which are a brighter shade of green. He wears a long white lab coat, gray vest, white collared shirt, and a purple scarf. He also appears to be wearing black pants and silver-lined boots identical to those worn by members of Organization XIII.
