Filoctetesthe File In short, he is a satyr (half man, half goat). He is Hercules' coach, and lives in the Olympus Coliseum. He can be moody and argumentative, but at times, he can turn out to be generous and kind. He often judges people before he gets to know them. Fil's dream is the formation of a hero so great that the gods will create a zodiac sign in the sky, and people would say, "It is Fil's boy." However, Fil doubts this will ever happen, sometimes dreams are for newbies who believe. His catchphrase is "two words" where he says something to someone, but it is usually more or less than two words. Goofy and Ventus often count the words of their catchphrase on their fingers.

Famed coach with more than one hero trained in his resume. Despite retiring as a coach, he has returned to the Colosseum to help Hercules.

History

Kingdom Hearts

Appears for the first time in the Colosseum on Olympus. Being very busy preparing the preparations, he believes that Sora was Hercules and tells him to move a concrete block that, being very heavy, Sora complains and he is surprised when he sees the boy. Although he does not think they were heroes, he trains them several times, but does not allow them to enter the cup. Still, Hades gives Sora a chance to compete, and this is how Fil is forced to let them compete anyway.

He interrupts the cup when Cerberus makes his appearance, saying that Hercules was on his way. He is also seen previously suspicious of Cloud as he sees him for a long time in the dark in the company of Hades. After the incidents in the Preliminaries, he names Sora and his hero apprentice friends telling them that they still lack various qualities to be true heroes.

In his repeated appearances he gives advice to Sora and company by saying "Three words" and then mentioning more or less three words.

Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days

In his appearance in this game, Fil is in charge of training Roxas believing that he is the apprentice that Hercules had promised him. In several visits Roxas meets Hercules, and asks Fil why he demands much more from Hercules than from him. This tells him that it is because he must be in shape to protect his loved ones and retain his hero title, he also congratulates Roxas for his work and teaches him what trust and hopes are, differentiating them from orders and mandates.

On occasion he tells Roxas to resist a little in his fight against the Armor, since Hercules was on his way (something very similar to what happened in the first game) however Roxas manages to defeat his opponent and disappear through a portal. When he arrives he tells Hercules that it was strange that Roxas was not there and to the surprise of his disciple he wonders who he had been training. When Roxas returns to the coliseum he tells him that he already knew about his deception but that he should not lie since if he knew the truth before he would not have subjected him to so many training, and ends up accepting him as a disciple.

When Roxas is kidnapped, apparently Naminé is in charge of erasing the memories about Roxas to each of the characters he had met except Organization XIII, consequently Fil forgets about the existence of Roxas and the training he had given him, however this they are just assumptions.

Kingdom Hearts II

His role does not change much, he is the host of a new cup in the coliseum and continues to treat Sora and his friends as apprentices. It is not until the second visit that when he sees the stars, their silhouettes are seen as constellations and he recognizes that Sora, Donald and Goofy became heroes recognized by the gods of Olympus.

Fil is one of the secondary characters in the movie Hercules, being the retired coach, thanks to Hercules he raised his spirits and trained him.

After rescuing 2 children who were actually Pain and Panic, the Hydra comes out, thanks to Fil's advice they manage to defeat him. After fame blinded Hercules Fil abandoned him since he did not want his help, later to lose his spirits, Fil lifts Hercules and stimulates him, after that Hercules is proclaimed a Hero.
