    About

    Ventus, Aqua and Terra

Son of a god, this vigorous and exceptionally strong young man known as Herc, was kidnapped as soon as he was born and raised among mortals. He has discovered that if he becomes a hero, he will be able to ascend to Olympus alongside the gods, so he constantly trains with Phil, his friend and personal trainer.

    History

    Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

Young Hercules is training to become a hero alongside Zack, hoping to regain his divinity and return to Olympus, proving to himself that he is a true hero. After watching Terra fight, he wishes to become like him.

He meets Ventus and after him, Ven, and Zack fight and defeat the Nescient; Hercules suggested to Ven that he train with Fil to become a hero. During the final fight with Zack, the Nesciente attacked the city and Ven ran to defeat them. Herc instantly gives up the fight to help Ventus. After the battle, some hidden Nesciente tried to attack Hercules from behind, but Zack finished with them. Fil then comes out and declares that he is going to train Hercules by being quick enough to make a useful decision. In truth, Fil never thought of giving up on training Herc.

He also meets Aqua, who appears after Zack tries to ask Aqua out. At that moment Aqua's face "turns red", she also receives advice from Aqua about not always trusting her strength, and also tells her that she believes that he will become a real hero one day.

In the end credits, Hercules is seen training with Fil while Zack watches them from the door of the coliseum before leaving.

    Kingdom Hearts

Hercules did not arrive at the Olympus Coliseum until Sora, Donald, Goofy and Cloud observe the arrival of Cerberus. Sora, Donald, and Goofy run back to battle with Cerberus so Hercules could escape with Cloud, who was unconscious. Following Cerberus's defeat, Hercules was impressed with the trio, but encouraged them to continue training when Fil bestows on them the title of "Apprentice Heroes." When they leave, Hercules reveals to Fil that he had already weakened Cerberus enough when Sora and the others arrived. Hercules fights Sora later in the last Hercules Cup battle. When Sora defeats and wins the Hercules Cup, as well as the possibility of accessing the lock of the Colosseum, he comments that the strength of his heart comes from his friends, and Hercules supports him in it.

    Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories

    Hercules

Hercules meets Sora when Fil is about to cancel the games because no one else has passed the preliminary course. Sora convinces them to keep the games because he wants to fight Hercules. Hercules agrees and then Cloud shows up to add another contender for the games. During the game, Cloud wants to eliminate Hercules so that he can restore his lost memories. At the end of the tour, Cloud and Hercules are fighting to the death when Hades intervenes, determined to kill Hercules himself, as Cloud was unable to finish him off. Sora then defends Hercules from Hades. After the defeat of Hades, Hercules would like to fight Sora, but says that he is not in top form and promises to fight Sora when he is better.

    Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days

Hercules went in search of potential new heroes for the Colosseum and sent someone to start training with Phil. Fil mistook Roxas as the apprentice Herc sent and began training him. Roxas watched Hercules training in a couple of scenes, and he also crossed paths with him several times. Fil told Hercules how well Roxas is progressing and Hercules says that the person he found couldn't be at the Colosseum anymore as it would take him a while to get there. As such, Fil was surprised to find that he was training a complete stranger.

    Kingdom Hearts II

Hercules spends most of his days fighting the monsters Hades sends to the Colosseum, including the Rock Titan and the Hydra. He's a little tired of fighting so much, but he hides his tiredness from Meg and her friends. When Meg is captured by Hades, Sora and the others offer to search for her so she can confront the Hydra in the Colosseum. After "killing" the monster, he goes to the Underworld to join the others in rescuing Meg. He is later depressed by the destruction of the coliseum at the hand of the Hydra.

After Sora's second visit to the destroyed Colosseum, Hercules is still quite depressed. Then Hades, proposed to him to participate in the tournaments of the Hellodrome, threatening to harm Meg. Before the finale, Sora and the others meet their friend Auron, who is being controlled by Hades. In order to buy time, Hercules agrees to fight Auron "one on one" to the death. Sora, Donald, and Goofy stop the fight when Hercules is about to run out of strength and help Auron regain his will. Angered by the result, Hades throws Meg into the Stygian Lagoon and Hercules leapt after her, regaining his strength by reminding himself that the strength of a true hero comes from his heart. With Hercules already recovered, the group defeats Hades, and they witness the creation of a new constellation in the shape of Sora, Donald and Goofy, becoming true heroes at last.

At some point after Xemnas' defeat, Hercules successfully rebuilds the Olympus Coliseum with the help of his friends.

    Kingdom Hearts coded

In Kingdom Hearts Coded, Hercules teams up with Data Sora to help him find Hades, as well as destroy the Heartless and Errors along the way. He has been seen fighting Cloud, who ironically also joins Sora in helping him. Hercules fights Cerberus alongside Sora and Cloud. After defeating Cerberus, he fights against Hades.

    Personality

Hercules is shown to be strong and can take care of himself, so he is always ready to endure hours of intensive training at the hands of his mentor, Fil. He has a genuine love for Meg, and is willing to sacrifice his own life for her. He is quite optimistic and faces things with courage, however, like the insults of Hades and a series of difficult combats, including a loss to the Hydra, the hero began to doubt his worth. It is when the lives of his friends are in danger that Hercules realizes that this is worth nothing, and that, in his words, "a true hero is measured by the strength of his heart."

    Appearance

Extremely muscular, with broad shoulders and a relatively slim waist, Hercules is always seen in orange-brown armor that ends in a kind of metal skirt. His armor does not extend to his arms, nor to most of his legs. He wears a brown belt at the waist with a gold emblem with the Zeus symbol printed on it. Hercules' sandals reach her knees, are shaped like a cross and their straps are brown, as well as two bracelets that she also wears. He has a reddish-brown head band tied around his forehead, his hair pushing back is reddish in color, except for the bangs that fall over him. The only aspects of Hercules' appearance without earth-toned colors are his sky blue eyes and a short, blue back cape. Hercules is sometimes seen with a simple sword with a brown handle and a low yellow guard, but it seems that he prefers to fight with his bare hands.

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Hercules is seen much younger before becoming a hero. His appearance is like that of "Hercules La Seria". At this point in his life, Hercules was rather scrawny and far from muscular. Her sandals are not knee length like her current self, and she wore a plain white toga that fell to most of her legs and arms, exposing the right side of her chest. He had a metal pendant engraved with the symbol of Zeus that was attached to a strap on his left shoulder. Her headband and bracelets were also missing. Her hair was a little longer as well, reaching almost to her shoulders. It seemed to be just a shadow of what it is now.

    Skills

When he fought in the different Colosseum Tournaments in the early Kingdom Hearts, Hercules was invincible, being protected by a golden aura. Sora has to pick up and throw barrels at him to make him vulnerable for a short time. The best time to throw a barrel at Hercules is when he is teasing by saying "Hey! Are you giving up already?" and begins to pose with his muscles. You can tell that he's going to make fun of Sora when you slowly take side steps across the field. Hercules attacks with different blows and also hits the ground, unleashing a shock wave. He also has other attacks including hitting a charged fist, using his sword and spinning, a ramming headbutt, and even unleashing an energy blast around him.

    Hercules Hercules

    Hercules in the Disney movie

A demigod, son of Zeus the sky god, Hercules was known as "Heracles" in Greek mythology. He still has his great strength as seen in the Disney adaptation of the "character", but various plots seen in this version of Hercules do not remain present in the myths. One similarity is that they are both considered a hero in their own right, fighting a number of monsters. Mythology has a much more diverse love life, there is rivalry with Hades or affiliation with Phil, and it has no goal of regaining its "god" status. Myths also depict the hero as a man wielding a mallet instead of a sword, wearing a lion's skin as his only source of clothing.

In the Disney movie of the same name as this hero, Hercules was kidnapped as a baby from his home on Mount Olympus and turned mortal by Pain and Panic. Growing up a strong teenager, the object of ridicule and misunderstanding of his deadly adoptive parents, Herc left home to search for his true identity. A conversation with his father Zeus told him that he will seek out Philoctetes, trainer of heroes, and thus learn to be a "true hero" so that he could regain his divinity. Hercules achieved fame, and finally found love in Meg. It was his love for this woman that enabled Hercules to become a "true hero" when he risked his life for hers.
