El King mickey (Mickey Mouse) is the king of Disney Castle and, along with Donald and Goofy, the main protagonist of Disney in the Kingdom Hearts series. He is the wielder of the Keyblade of the Realm of Darkness even though he follows the path of Light. Learn all the secrets of Riku, Ansem, the Seeker of Darkness and Xehanort.

King of the Disney castle. He went out to fight the darkness and has left instructions for Goofy and Donald to find the key holder. Everyone is very worried about King Mickey, because nobody knows where he is.

Kingdom Hearts II

The King of Disney Castle has faced enormous dangers in his lonely search for the secrets of Organization XIII. He seems to know something about what happened to Riku, but whatever it is, he's keeping it to himself.

Eternal River

It's King Mickey, but when he worked on Pete's steamer. There is one thing that has not changed: His Majesty was as brave in the past as he is in the present.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

The king of Disney Castle. After discovering that something threatens the worlds, he leaves his training under the tutelage of Master Yen Sid and leaves to investigate. He carries a mysterious artifact called "Star Fragment" with which he can travel from one world to another, although the truth is that he is not able to control it and makes him go from one place to another. Kingdom Hearts Re:coded

King who rules in Disney Castle, skilled in the handling of the keyblade like Sora. He previously traveled the worlds to face the power of darkness while guiding and watching over Sora, Donald, and Goofy. He returned to Disney Castle when the shadows dissipated, and there he lived with his friends more peaceful days. (Records)

History

Eternal River

Many years before the construction of Disney Castle, Mickey Mouse was a simple worker who did not even aspire to be King. At the time of the Eternal River, Mickey worked for Pete's steamer. As part of its nature, the mouse barely said a word, so it was quite difficult to discern its mood at 100%. When Sora, Donald, and Goofy enter their bygone era to save Disney Castle's Cornerstone of Light, they mistake Mickey for their king, without much success. In this world, Mickey is attacked more than four times, even suffering an attack from the heartless in his own house, causing the destruction of it.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

He sets out on a journey at the warning of the magician Yen Sid. He warned him that something serious was going to happen. Throughout the story he fights alongside Ventus, Aqua and Terra, coming to face Vanitas.

Kingdom Hearts

Mickey leaves Disney Castle to fight the Heartless. He does not appear until the end of the game, when he closes Kingdom Hearts with Sora and is trapped in the Kingdom of Darkness with Riku.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

It does not appear in Sora's story, but it does appear in Riku's. In Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories Reverse, he helped Riku rid himself of Ansem's influence. He was the first to meet DiZ, but he did not remember the king. He then joined Riku on their way "towards dawn".

Kingdom Hearts 358 / 2 Days

The only time Mickey appears in story mode is talking to Riku in the forest of the abandoned mansion. It is playable in mission mode. To achieve this you have to finish the game and buy an object called Royal Return in the Moguri Shop.

Kingdom Hearts II

He first appears in Twilight Town, defeating the Nobodies surrounding Sora, Donald, and Goofy. He gave Sora Roxas's purse and told them to go see his mentor Yen Sid. He reappears in Radiant Garden, where he revealed the truth about Ansem and clarified various points of Riku's whereabouts. Helped when Maleficent's Heartless wanted to destroy Radiant Garden. When they encountered Xemnas, Mickey jumped into the dark portal to pursue him, but later appears in Twilight Town, which means that he failed to pursue Xemnas. Sora and Mickey discover a path that leads to The Nonexistent World through the Virtual Twilight Village that DiZ had created. In this world, Mickey goes ahead to meet Ansem The Wise, who used his machine to convert Kingdom Hearts into data, but fails, the device explodes and dies (supposedly). Afterwards, Mickey prepared to fight Xemnas alongside Sora and Riku, but did not face Xemnas because Xemnas blocked him when he opened Kingdom Hearts. When Sora and Riku defeated Xemnas, Mickey congratulated the latter on the defeat of Organization XIII. Then Mickey writes a letter to Sora, Riku, and Kairi, who were in the Destiny Islands, announcing a very important new mission.

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded

While the king reasons unfinished business at Disney Castle, Jiminy Cricket shows him a strange phrase that has appeared in his diary, it says: "We must return to ease his pain." Mickey decides to decipher what is in the diary since he says that although what Pepito has written has disappeared it does not mean the diary is empty so he consults a machine to decipher it. Donald and Goofy arrive and ask what is happening and after explaining it all of a sudden some strange blocks appear on the screen of the machine. Quickly Mickey says: "Only he can solve this" (referring to Sora) and after this they create Data Sora, a digital copy of Sora created from the data of the same in Pepito's diary. But suddenly, he appears dressed in the Organization's costume at the moment Data Sora is in the Descent to the Heart. Mickey tells Data Sora to follow him but he disappears. Later, when Data Sora arrives at the Destiny Islands, Mickey asks him to investigate the errors of the worlds and to repair them, Data Sora agrees. Mickey progresses in the story with Data Sora correcting bugs in each visited world.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

The most important thing that Mickey does in this installment is talking to Master Yen Sid about the Keyblade warriors (Ventus, Aqua and Terra) and advising Sora and Riku about the promotion to master exam and a cameo in the Land of the Musketeers and Symphony of Witchcraft.

Playing like mickey

In Kingdom Hearts II, the king can be handled in certain bosses when Sora dies. Instead of "Continue" or "Load Game", "I won't give up!" or "Everything has finished ..." (these options will not always appear, only sometimes). If you choose "I won't give up!" Mickey will appear to replace Sora in the battle temporarily. Mickey can attack with the Keyblade or use Sanctus magic, which will of course consume his MP.

The King in battle is very strong, much faster than Sora and his MP recovers very quickly, as with the Haste PM ++ skill. But, there is a problem, Mickey does not have final attack of the combo, reason why it is not possible to be finished with any bosses.

When we handle the king, the objective is to fill the maximum 3 Fusion Bars, to use the Life Glow and fully recover Sora. To achieve this, you have to attack the enemy or press the triangle button to fill the bars.

Curiosities

At first Mickey was going to be the main protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts saga, but the plans were quickly changed and it was decided to place an original character from the game as the protagonist.
Mickey's costume in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep is the same as the one in Kingdom Hearts II, only with black tones
